This trip we waited quite a while to be seated and served but Alfe’s is worth the wait! The Jackie sauce (shrimp , scallops, crab) is one of a kind and something to experience if you’ve never tasted it. You can add it to any dish or throw it over some pasta and enjoy. This is one of my favorite stops at the shore.

Alfe’s is definitely a great Italian restaurant! The blush sauce and portion size were truly insanely great. No complaints at all there. Service also was very kind and explained anything we needed. Atmosphere was calm and inviting, and the restaurant was a lot larger than expected. Only issue was wait times. We had to wait an hour for a table (no hate there – totally understandable because it was a busy Saturday night even though it was already 7:30pm) but once we sat, we had to wait awhile for our food. We ordered an appetizer purposely right away and that came out timely but after ordering our main course it took right over an hour and a half for that to come out (it was two meals total – penne w/ blush and chicken, and gnocchi w/ blush and meatballs on the side). By that point it was almost 10:30pm and to eat this heavy of a meal was not something I was excited about. I totally would come back again but only when it’s not busy because no food is worth waiting that long with no heads up.

Our first time visit. We were sitting along the boardwalk and asked for a recommendation for dinner and they pointed us to Alfe’s. We enjoyed the service and food. Heads up, the long hots are HOT. Salad was really good. We also enjoyed the live music.

This is the BEST restaurant that my family and I have ever been to. The service is phenomenal, the food is phenomenal, the atmosphere gives that authenic Italian dining. You really feel like something special here. The calamari is by far the best in South Jersey as well as their house salad!!

Always a delicious meal here and their drinks are very good too. Plus they offer a big menu so everyone can find something to enjoy. My favorite is the palate cleanser that comes with your dinner

The foods presentation was very pretty however the taste was not worth the price. Service was not very good though. I didn’t get our servers name but she was pretty aggressive towards our table.

Such a great restaurant! Enjoyed everything we ordered. Our waiter was great and gave us some good suggestions on what to get. I got the grouper fish in the Jackie sauce, which was amazing! The house salad was to die for, and they give you a cute little pallet cleanser which is such a good idea! Definitely will be coming back with the family!

The service was terrible. Never saw our waiter. He wasn’t very friendly. We have been coming to Wildwood since the late 80’s and have never been here, but because we came in April, most of our favorites (Ravioli House, Little Italy) were closed, so we were limited. As for the food, I would rather eat at Olive Garden. Wilted salad, mushy tomatoes, soggy cucumbers. Tomato sauce on gnocchi tasted like Prego. Jacki sauce was good, bit chicken was dry, shrimp were very tough, and scallops were chewy. For some reason it took 2 hours to eat there because of the slow service. We just don’t recommend this place.

Our food was delicious, but warm, not hot like it should be.
We had a large group of people.
One of the waiters Dominic was grumpy, PLEASE address this, your job is to keep your customers happy & coming back!
Our waitress was Patrice she was really sweet & nice and did a great job, thank you!
Please print your dinner specials & appetizer specials for your customers to see or put on a dry erase board daily for customers to see.
The manager has a lil sass which was not appreciated either. Never be defensive about a waiter who knows he’s getting reported for being a moody person..

Ohhh & the seating is very very tight.

If I could rate Alfe’s a 10 on service alone I would! My husband and I brought out 1 year old on a date with us. The staff was phenomenal and our waitress Karen was top notch! She brought our daughter Bella crackers, a cup of water for herself. She played with her while being so attentive to us as well. She had great recommendations. Everyone was lovely. Food was amazing.

I’ve grown up going to Alfe’s. It was my Nana’s favorite local place. God rest her soul. It will always hold a special place in my heart and the great food and service make it extra wonderful!
