Husband made reservations for our anniversary and I had no idea this place even existed! This place is a “hidden gem” and we will definitely be returning. We sat in the “lounge area” at a beautiful table (our preference). Atmosphere was very charming and comfortable, loved the music and the art throughout. Service was great! Thank you to “Chris” (not sure of spelling) who was so kind and brought us to our table, even telling us which table to ask for next time. She was such a delightful person, and very personable. Also wanted to mention “Connor” who was our server and was also very kind and knowledgable. We did not feel rushed at all, which is very important as we like to take our time while out. There is a very extensive wine list, with many great choices. Connor asked what we liked in a wine and had many recommendations and we were very happy with the one we chose. The food was very good, fresh and arrived to our table steaming hot. The veal and ricotta meatballs were absolutely delightful. My husband had the lobster ravioli which were also very good. Prices are very reasonable. There is a wine celler that also has a table in there that you can book for a private party. Connor was more than happy to give us a “quick tour.” Thank you to everyone at Alfano’s for a wonderful evening! We will definitely be back!

8/19 Visit: my husband and I arrived pretty late, but we were still seated and served. We did not feel rushed. The food was tasty and the server, although not super engaging was very professional. The owner was present and he was very friendly and brought us out a piece of cake on the house. Restaurant was nicely decorated as well. Loved the intimate feeling.

Perfect setting for private group dining – Thank you for hosting the Tampa Bay Women in Tourism holiday luncheon. The service and Italian cuisine were top-notch. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Alfano’s for your next dining experience in the Clearwater area.

We were there a couple of months ago as we were leaving we meet a friendly, nice black gentleman he was taking out the trash i asked him is name he said it was AJ he had a apron on. So we asked him if he was a cook he said no. He said he is our humble dishwasher. He was very charming and well mannered he asked us did we enjoy our food. We told him very well so we enjoyed everything. He said that was Awesome!! He said he was glad we liked it and don’t be a stranger to the restaurant and that everyone enjoyed our business. I have been to alot of restaurant’s in my time and never have we every had someone so nice thank us and ask about our dining that wasn’t are server. We will be back again and I will tell all of our friends and family to come to this restaurant.

Came here for the second time and it was just as great as the first time. The table side caesar salad was great, the chicken rosemary was delicious, and the fresh catch grouper with Mediterranean topping was excellent. The tiramisu was superb. This place is a gem so if you’re in the area, this is a must-try.

We have been dining here on and off for about 8 years. Excellent Italian cuisine in a classic old world European setting. A bit of a rarety in Clearwater area. Had the mussels marinara linguine dish, a nice choice. Only problem is that the plate was very stingy on pasta. When it comes to pasta, my Dad always used to say, it costs nothing to fill a plate of pasta. So why not give people what they want? Fill the plate with enough that they can barely finish. Then you will have perfect reviews every time.
