Consistency is a major part of any restaurant, and this place really struggles. My wife and I love their taco pizza when it’s good. Flavorful taco meat, other toppings and chips. It is a crap shoot though. We ordered last night, and got the bad. Barely enough taco meat on the whole pizza to make a single mini taco. The lettuce was wilted and the chips were stale. It was also extremely dry. We also ordered a pepperoni, black olive and jalapeno pizza. Unlike the taco pizza, this was flavorful, cheesy, and properly sauced. It was delicious. We keep ordering, because when they get it right, it’s exceptional, but when they get it wrong, it’s edible, but not enjoyable.

We decided to stop here after shopping and it was great. There is a small 2-seater table for dine in. Pizza was fantastic, perfectly crispy. Cookies were burnt on the bottom. Service was great – the cook was super friendly.

We decided to get the Medium Unlimited and dine in — there was only one table, but this was our first visit and we wanted to try the pizza straight out of the oven. Wow, was it worth it! The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings were generous, and the flavor was amazing.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and you could tell they really take pride in what they do. Even though it’s mostly a carryout spot, it was such a great experience to enjoy it fresh and hot.
If you haven’t tried Alfano’s yet, definitely stop by — it’s easily one of Wentzville’s best!

Absolutely amazing pizza! We arrived 30 minutes before closing and the owner was happy to make us a pizza and insisted we stay and eat it. It was delicious, fresh ingredients, amazing crust and large portion size. The hospitality and likability of the owner left a positive impression like the food. Definitely returning and sharing with others.

If you’re like me and you’re a full-time working mom, you know how fast the days can fly by. Between grocery shopping, laundry, and all the things… sometimes there’s nothing better than not cooking on a Sunday night.
Tonight we ordered Alfonso’s Pizza — and it did not miss! From the moment they answered the phone, they were so kind and helpful. I ordered their Sunday special (an extra-large pizza with free wings), and they even called me back to let me know they were out of wings. Instead of just canceling, they offered to substitute toasted ravioli or another appetizer and threw in a free dessert for the inconvenience.
It wasn’t even necessary, but it definitely earned them a spot in our book! The delivery driver was super nice too — he even complimented our new puppy and was so genuine and friendly.
We’ll absolutely be ordering from them again.
I’m all about supporting local businesses, and if you’re craving pizza — Alfonso’s is your place! ❤️

The pizza was a true disappointment. The toppings were good but the crust was so chewy it made eating the pizza very difficult and almost impossible. Biting into the pizza and coming away with a bit took a lot of effort. My husband has always been a huge fan but this is probably the last time we will order.
