So my husband and I have been coming to Alex’s for almost 2 years. This immediately became one of our favorite restaurants.
Unfortunately our feelings towards this place has changed over the past 6 months. The prices increased with service decreasing. A usual $40 meal is easily $65 now (without tip).
Ordered takeout today and no chips and salsas. We didn’t check the bag because usually they are very attentive. Stopped ordering takeout from here because our order is constantly missing something or just wrong.
Hoping this place doesn’t start going downhill.

Beans were on point. I like the fact that they serve simple basic street tacos without adding unnecessary stuff. Meat, onions and cilantro. However I thought the meat was bland and not very warm. The rice was fair. I will definitely come back, Im hoping the meat will have more flavor on the next visit. The staff is kind but they speak very low, kind of hard to hear them. The place is nice inside. Comfortable atmosphere. My wife had the shrimp salad and it was good. Prices are fair. I will update on my return visit in the near future. Oh BTW they serve beer, even though I didn’t order one I saw that they carry Pacifico, that’s good Mexican beer.

My family and I had dinner here and it was amazing. With so many Mexican options it can be hard to pick a favorite but this clearly our favorite in town so far. So far I have tried the wings, mojarra with adobo sauce, carne asada taco, fried rice, burgers and fries, chicken cheese and rice, tamales, and the menudo. All these options are wonderful. We have never had a bad meal here. The prices are decent too. This is perfect place to grab a bite. The flavor are unmatched. We certainly recommend checking them out. You will not be disappointed. The hidden gem is most definitely the fried rice and the wings!! Hands down the best.

The food is terrific.
We ordered street tacos, tamales, and a beef soup plus chips and salsa.
Salsa was delicious. Tamale with verde sauce was awesome.
The soup was da bomb.

Me and my family would eat here once a week if we could but definitely have to have it 1 or 2 times a month . We are obsessed with their wings!! And my kids love there kids meal chicken cheese and rice. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

This was our first time to Alex’s and we were not disappointed!! The food was excellent, the service was great, and we would have paid 4x what we did if we were in Franklin.
We each got tacos – I can highly recommend carne molida (ground beef), camarones (shrimp) and pastor (pork). The fresh guacamole was absolutely amazing – for two people we should have gotten a small, but the medium gave us leftovers the next day and that actually stayed super fresh!
We also got the tres leches cake – again, great! We’re more excited to go back to try more things – if you want really good, authentic Mexican food, check it out!!
