My first time coming here & I ordered the fish & chips everything was fresh & cooked to perfection. I enjoyed it so much that I had to come back a second time. I definitely recommend this spot & can easily see myself stopping by regularly on Sundays when I’m not in the mood to cook. The staff is very friendly & welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

This place is a Hidden Gem. It’s right around the corner from me, but I do not eat out often. Last night was my third visit to this establishment. On my two previous visits, I got the chicken cheesesteak, which was delicious both times. Last night, I decided to get the beef cheesesteak and the chicken cheesesteak to see which one I liked better.
I can tell you that they were both delicious and it just depends on what you are in the mood for. The beef cheesesteak stood out to me, though, because of the way it was cooked. You can tell that the meat was seared hot and fast, giving it that maillard reaction. IMO, that flavor sets it apart from some of the other local offerings.

We tried the Philly Cheesesteak combo, and it absolutely hit the spot! The portions were incredibly generous for the price, and the flavor did not disappoint. The sandwich was packed with meat and melted cheese rich, satisfying, and delicious. The wings were also a standout crispy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor.
While the wait was a bit long, it was totally worth it once the food arrived. The only tweak we’d suggest is adding a little heat but that’s just a personal preference.
My son loved the chicken nuggets and fries combo crispy, tasty, and kid approved! With great food, solid prices, and a menu that has something for everyone, we’ll definitely be coming back.

I stopped in for lunch and ordered a Philly cheesesteak with french fries, and my fiancé got a gyro with fries. Everything was beyond amazing. The gentleman who took our order was so nice, and the food came out incredibly fast. My Philly was packed with meat and cheese, and the gyro meat was phenomenal so much so I wasnt even able to get a full bite of my fiance gyro because your devoured it. We were honestly impressed from start to finish. We’ll definitely be coming back

Alex’s Gyros is an unassuming halal restaurant located on a busy stretch of East Colonial Drive. It doesn’t give off the best first impression, but the food is great. The wings were cooked perfectly and were flavorful. The philly sandwich was also delicious with the meat being piled high on a fresh hoagie roll. The only downside was the liquid cheese, which was too runny and didn’t have much flavor.
Overall, I had a positive experience at Alex. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Be aware that you should bring cash as there is a 4% credit card surcharge.

The gyro was packed too. Overall, they are open late, provide filling portions, and have some tasty options. If you’re in the area, give them a try.

One of the best Philly Cheese Steaks I’ve had in Orlando. The bread was super soft and meat was juicy and tender. The restaurant is a little messy though and you can definitely tell it’s old and runned down. The food takes a while to come out but that’s probably because they only have 2 people working there and one is really old. It’s really fresh though because you can see them cook it right in front of you. I see a lot of locals there so it’s pretty popular around the area.
