I seen the place on the news that got me interested. So we went my wife daughter and I and WOW it was awesome there is so much stuff there and a 2nd floor with a taproom, bowling, vr golf and vr gaming. I got a cappuccino it was delicious got some other stuff 2 try out and some pizza and went home the pizza was really good. Next time were going bowling and eating there lots of fun

Love ❤️ this place! They have everything and I mean everything! Service at the gourmet to go counter couldn’t have been any better. She was super friendly and super helpful. Asked me if I wanted my food heated up. amazing. So many choices. They have a bar and a restaurant upstairs with a bowling alley. So much fun. Great times. Just went recently for Thanksgiving and had an amazing Turkey dinner. They had all the fixings. Such a great selection in their gourmet to go. And everything has been phenomenal. Highly recommend.

4.33/5 Always been curious about Alex’s since I pass it each time I go to Pine Knob for a show. Finally decided to stop in for dinner on a Sunday night since the reviews are good. Made reservations in advance and found this wasn’t necessary – we walked right in. Our server did an excellent job taking care of us. The southwest salad was a filling starter and perfect portion to split. I also loved my chicken sandwich with the boom boom sauce, but not a fan of the shoestring fries that came with them. Overall, fascinating place with options for everyone. My only other recommendation is to make sure you have a heavy sweater on because the downstairs area is freezing!!!

My buddy and I went to Alex’s for the first time today. We love this place. The first floor is overwhelming with fresh made food, a meat counter, a beer cave, a coffee shop, a wall of liquors, on and on. But we came for a beer and lunch, so headed upstairs to the big dinning room and bar. The bartender, James, was very patient with me as I tried to decide on which of the 101 taps I wanted (a dark ale from Keweenaw Brewing). I had the fish sandwich and my friend had the lamb sliders with truffle fries. Excellent! We’ll be back. Bringing the wives.

The ambiance is amazing. The idea is so grand to put a rooftop restaurant/bar on top of a grocery/liquor store! The elevator was broken so you’ll have to take the stairs. The fattoush salad was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The dressing is well seasoned and flavorful. The chicken nachos were good. The fish was very huge! It was extremely filling. My friends chicken sandwich looked delicious! The margarita flight was awesome. I would love to go back and try more items.
They also have bowling and I believe laser tag(don’t quote me on this) when you first walk in. Definitely a hidden gem and a great date night spot.

Emma was outstanding and made our night with her amazing service. She helped us pick out the best grub and drinks. She was super friendly and even had her boss take us to the banquet room that we didn’t even know they had. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something new with a twist. We had a couple bowling lanes reserved and were eating table side while we played. I will be back 100% and asking for Emma.

This is such a unique place. With the market, the restaurant (called Taproom Bistro), and the mini bowling alley in the same building. I like that this is right in my backyard. The restaurant atmosphere is updated and cozy. There is a fireplace on the enclosed second-floor patio of the restaurant with lots of overhead heating units, so it’s nice to sit out there even in the winter. We went at 5:30 pm and it wasn’t busy at all. When we left about 7, it was much more crowded.
Our server was excellent. She was very helpful with the menu. Our drinks were perfect. We asked if they could make the Sangria stronger and the bartender was happy to oblige. We ordered a boom-boom shrimp appetizer that was very good. I had the fish and chips and that piece of fish was huge! I like that the breading wasn’t too thick. My friend had the Chicken Shawarma and she said it was very good. So much so that she had to take half home. Since I was there for my birthday, my friend and I decided to try the Deep Fried Twinkies. They were delicious, so much better than I expected. There are two, so it’s perfect for sharing between two people.

Talk about a place that makes your appetite sore. To staff here was very friendly and courteous and knowledgeable. It’s really cool to be at a gourmet market so after you’re done eating you can go buy what you want to make it at home. They do DJ bingo here on Tuesday nights.

Their diesel pumps are a complete mess. Hoses laying on the ground, machines not reading cards, and the DEF will not pump after reading card. It took almost 30 minutes to fill my truck when I finally got a pump to work. Definitely going elsewhere moving forward. Food is decent, but way overpriced.

Excellent place if you want to get gas and pick up a quick bite to eat. Groceries are kind of on the high end though. They also have bowling upstairs if you want to play a game.
