Ordered the carne asada ranchera breakfast to go this morning for myself and my wife had the French toast. Food wasn’t bad but wasn’t anything special.
Steak was good well cooked and tender , Beans were lacking flavor and did not taste home made. Rice was decent. The huevos rancheros under the steak were pretty good also.the ranchera salsa or sauce was kinda mid imo but was good enough to eat. The plate is stacked and kinda messy to eat to go, For the price around $20 it’s a good amount of food. My wife enjoyed the French toast plate but said it wasn’t anything special. The only issue I have is how long it takes to get a to go plate when you order inside. I watched the drive through fill up and get empty while I waited for my plate. Took over 30 mins to get my food out which I know it’s a weekend and it’s busy but it seems like they prioritize the drive through orders. Hard to chose this restaurant over the other Mexican food options in the city. Which there is a lot.

As the good music plays in the background and many families patiently wait for there orders of good food to arrive chips are brought to to your table with some of the best homemade salsa I’ve had in a long time! Many options on the menu so you Will always be satisfied with your favorite dish. I personally enjoy any and everything with Alexas special name on the menu topped and filled chile Verde covered with queso sour creme and homemade guacamole so wonderful I can go on for days ! A must try and once you come you will.ne baxk!

I saw this place on a tiktok for a delishious place to eat in the IE. Yes!!! Everything was delicious. We came about 130pm and it was busy, it’s small inside and not much parking in the back, so you might need to wait? Definitely the locals here love this place. I loved the salsa, so yummy. My husband had the steak/carne asada plate and I had the garlic shrimp, mine was loaded with garlic just how I like it. We got free refills on the chips and tortillas. Waitresses are super friendly and service was awesome, everyone that worked there were super attentive. I’m so glad we came to try this place.

Had the menudo and asada chilaquiles. Food was home like. Very tasty and fresh. Only problem you don’t have an assigned waitress so poor employees running around. Asked for more tortillas and napkins and utensils to different girls. But would definitely recommend. Menudo was fire.

While I typically do not favor steak, I was thoroughly impressed by the tenderness and flavor of this particular cut, as well as the overall quality of the other dishes. The portion sizes are commensurate with the pricing. This establishment is an excellent, unassuming dining option, and I eagerly anticipate sampling more of their menu items.

The best Mexican food in town, hands down. The portions are big, flavorful food, the service is great, and they give chips and salsa. I keep coming here for the service and the food. There’s also a drive through if I don’t feel like dining in.

Parking was limited but the visit was worth it. When you walk in, the menu is on the TV and the line to the registers. We waited in line to order, and they took our order at the register but told us to take a seat before paying and they will send our meals to the table. I am glad they gave us that option because it was the last table available before it got packed! The seating is limited, however the team members were quick to clean tables and have everyone seated as soon as they walk it. Great service! Our meals took the right amount to come out because everything was delicious!

From the outside, it doesn’t look like much, the location is small, and you wouldn’t think too much about it passing by on Cherry Ave. Entering the establishment, it’s a small but charming little place. It doesn’t stop there. The food here is PHENOMENAL! I went here with my family and all of what we ordered was worth it, HUGE portions! I highly recommend the carne asada chicken enchiladas. I will be eager to come back again very soon to try the other items on their menu!

I have had lunch here two days in a row. The portions are more than large. The food tastes fantastic. The ladies that wait on you are fast and efficient. One thing I appreciate, is that it takes a minute to get your food even if they aren’t busy yet. They are taking their time and doing it right. If you need a speedy Gonzalez then don’t come here. If you want a good meal with great sized portions.this is your place.

Placed my order at the speaker . Two different girls took my order. When I came up to the window 10 minutes later as the drive thru is always busy, the girl said my order was never put in and I would have to wait yet again. FYI call ahead and order your meal!
