I tried one of their gyros and it is definitely one of the best gyros that I have eaten. My wife ordered a tenderloin sandwich, but when she tasted one of our son’s pizza slices the negotiations started. She really wanted that pizza. She claimed it was the best pizza she had ever tasted. We are not from the area, but will definitely try to eat there again sometime. The cost was a bit higher than some other places, but in my opinion definitely worth it.

We stopped here for lunch recently, ordered the special, butterfly shrimp, Cole slaw and fries. The food was exceptional, very hot and tasty and not greasy, the slaw was very good as well. We actually commented to each other how clean it was. Highly recommend!!!

The food was great. Tasted great, hot, it was 5 star.
I gave 4 stars because the lady taking our order was super offended that my husband and I were going to share a drink. She wasn’t going to sell us a drink if I didn’t get two.
I didn’t make a deal out of it I just got us both one.
I had stomach surgery. My stomach holds a cup of food. I sometimes sip from his drink but I can’t possibly drink my own.
My husband eats 3/4 of our food for the same reason.
It was delicious, but we probably won’t be back because of the no share policy.

This restaurant is a family friendly establishment with absolutely fantastic food. The owners are wonderful kind hearted people. They bring authenticity and respect to their menu. Everything here is on-point and quality of the food never diminishes. I am very pleased to have Alexandros in our community. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed

Everything I’ve ever tried here is awesome. My favorite is the gyro with fries. The fries are AMAZING. Pizzas and burgers are excellent as well. Staff/owners are always very friendly and the portions are generous. This place is a favorite.

This Greek restaurant is a family run business and you can tell. The food is quite good if a little greasy and has a homey touch. They have pizza, burgers (including a delicious Greek Feta Burger) and gyros. The atmosphere is just what you’d expect from a family run joint, not high class but not uncleanly. The cowboy-themed decor is somewhat odd for a Greek restaurant, but is the remnant of the previous proprietorship. Overall this is a great place to grab a pizza with friends or sit down with a burger or gyro to chat with family.

I love a good gyro and Alexandro makes a really good gyro. The price is right, the service is always friendly and warm. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant is 15 miles from my home.

I absolutely love the gyros. The pizza is decent as well. I would stop there whenever I am in town but it seems like every other time I stop by they’re closed for a family emergency or vacation. I’d love to give you my money if your hours were more regular.

I went to this place today with my mother and 8-year old boy. My boy likes pepperoni pizza. They didn’t have pepperoni pizza on their menu, but they had a pizza called a Mama Mia which has pepperoni and sausage on it, so we ordered a large Mama Mia for the 3 of us along with 2 fountain pops. I poured myself a Mountain Dew from the pop machine. I took a sip. The first thing I tasted was dish soap. Nice, I thought (sarcasm). I drank it anyway (it won’t hurt you). The pizza took about 6 minutes for them to complete. When they served it to us, it was piping hot. I don’t like food, any food, that is piping hot, but I was hungry, so I dug in. The pizza was one of the best pizzas that I’ve ever tasted. My mom made a comment about the cheese being a really good quality mozzarella cheese because it was stringy. I told her that the cheese was probably a local cheese of Kalona. She nodded her head in agreement. As we were finishing up, my son had to use the restroom. He came back to our table and said the restroom was straight disgusting. I was doubtful because how could a place that served such awesome pizza have a disgusting restroom. So, I went and checked out the restroom myself. It was. While I would give this place 5 stars just for the pizza, my reviews are all about honesty because I want people to know that they can depend on me for the accuracy of information that I give. So, while it was a 5 star pizza, I’m only giving them 3 stars because my cup wasn’t clean (I tasted soap), -1 star, and their restroom was absolutely filthy/nasty, -1 star. Do something about your restroom and make sure your cups are clean and I will improve my review and give your business a better rating. Recommended for their food, but not for anything else.
