Alexander’s has a reputation for being the best steakhouse in the area. After our meal I completely understand why. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The hostess was very polite. When we arrived at our table our server was there immediately to take our beverage order. When we placed our dinner order she had recommendations that paired perfectly with the meal. We never had to ask for a beverage refill and our meals were perfectly prepared. The 7 oz fillet was amazing! Tender, juicy, and seasoned just enough. Best steak I have had in ages. We will definitely be going back.

We had a company Christmas Party here and the staff did a wonderful job keeping up with drinks orders and refills. Their salad bar has a great variety with refrigerated plates. We ordered an abundance of food including shrimp cocktails, calamari, fried mushrooms, potatoe skins, onion rings , sautéed mushrooms, sautéed onions, a variety of steaks, skillet cookies, cheesecake, and more. I only got a few pictures. Sorry.
The parking lot is big enough for semis and RV’s as long as they are not too busy.

The food was great. It was a Friday, we were there early but they got very busy. The salad bar was fresh and filled constantly. Had cold plates for the salad. Blue cheese dressing the best! Steaks were good. You can cook your own if you like. We had strip steaks. Great overall. Right near the lake. A little pricy but what isn’t anymore. Will definitely go back. MUST try. Make reservations. To full for dessert but they looked good.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Alexander’s batting 1000 as usual. Salad bar is the best but I come for steak. Always great. Long Island ice tea is dangerously good.

The food was decent. Not great or terrible. For the price it was very mediocre. Salad bar was a little lackluster, especially for their claim as the best salad bar in Peoria. The bright spot of dinner was our server. Zach was friendly and very attentive.

Great steakhouse to give a try. The salad bar was unique and reminded me of the days before Covid, but had limited options. The ribeye was full of flavor and juicy and cooked perfectly (you can also grill it yourself). I do wish there were more side options. Staff was attentive to our needs, but don’t take their pens! Tablecloths reminded of something at my aunt or grandmother’s house. We sat next to a high traffic area which was less than desirable. If you are in Peoria make sure to give them a try. I will definitely comeback.

My colleagues and I were in Peoria for a large work project, and whenever we travel, we like to get restaurant recommendations from the local tradesmen we work with. One of them suggested Alexander’s for great steaks, and as big steak fans, we had to give it a try.
We were warmly greeted by the hosts, and our server, Allison, was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, attentive at all the right times, and just genuinely lovely—I’ll admit, I had a bit of a crush, haha.
We all ordered the steak tenderloin with baked potatoes and the salad bar, and every one of us cleaned our plates. The food was that good.
Thank you, Alexander’s, for the great service and delicious meal. We’ll definitely be back!

A frigid Saturday night in January and Alexander’s Steakhouse was warm and cozy with the most amazing smell of steaks grilling. It was my first time there and I can’t wait to eat there again. A group of 20 of us went for dinner. Our waiter, Chase was terrific! Drinks and dinners were served quick and efficient. The salad bar was delicious and my 7oz teriyaki filet was gilled to perfection. The atmosphere was perfect for conversations. If you haven’t been there before, what are you waiting for?

The fries were under cooked. My steak was also. The best part about the meal was the salad bar.

Start your journey as you walk into an old paper mill factory and immerse yourself into a new experience. We decided to have lunch and made this our destination. The interior is well done yet preserves some of the past. Take a walk around and explore and. Heck out the framed art and articles. We chose a water view table and ordered drinks. Waitress was great, ordered our food and decided to let them cook it so we could just talk while waiting. Food delivered and it looked great. Steaks were cooked as requested. Lunch was delicious, definitely a return trip is in our furture.
