Howdy, pizza lovers! I recently had the chance to try the pizza at Alexander’s Pizza in Minocqua, Wisconsin, and well, it left me feeling a little lukewarm. Now, don’t get me wrong, the pizza wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t quite knock my boots off either. The crust lacked that irresistible crispness and the toppings were a bit sparse for my liking. The flavors were decent, but nothing to write home about. The service was friendly enough, but the wait time was longer than expected. On the positive side, the prices were reasonable, and the restaurant had a cozy and casual atmosphere. While Alexander’s Pizza didn’t quite hit the spot for me, it might still be worth a visit if you’re looking for a quick and affordable pizza fix in Minocqua. Remember, taste buds can be subjective, so give it a try and see if it suits your fancy.

Phenomenal flavor, balanced ingredients, and homemade from-scratch sauce and dough— fairly priced, too!

I went here on a recommendation, expecting an old school type of place with old school arcade games, pinball, etc. That simply wasn’t the case. The games here are just redemption and a photo booth. There was a motorcycle game, and some small pool tables, but there’s a lot to be desired.
The pizza itself was just ok, but this is coming from a Chicagoan who knows good thin cut, tavern style pizza. I really wanted to walk in and love this place, but the food underwhelmed and the games didn’t fit the feel of the place. This has so much potential, and I feel like it was probably a fantastic place 25 years ago or so. It’s just ok.

Comfortable place to hang out for all ages. Pool tables, good beer, outstanding service. Camp Golden Eagle’s favorite pizza!

My biggest pet peeve when it comes to pizza is when it’s hard and burnt. This pizza had hardly any sauce, was clearly burnt, which made the crust hard and crunchy like a cracker. This was not good pizza and for the price I would never purchase it again. Buyer beware!!

Food was great and reasonably priced. However dont use the Jukebox, its so quiet the people talking next to you will cover up the music.
However, the video games are at volume level 500.
Be ready to listen to motorcycle motocross and shout above the volume.

I’ve just had my worst meal of the year. At dinner time on a Friday night, I was one of three customers in the resturant dining in by myself. I ordered a small pizza, tipped nearly 30% in cash in advance, and then was forgotten about. After 45 minutes when the fella who ordered his pizza after me was leaving, I decided to ask about my pizza. Apparently it was in a box. They served it to me cold. When I realized I was eating paper cut by the pizza cutter on the bottom of the pieces, I abandoned the meal and left.

Great food, polite and kind employees, and a bunch of fun arcade games. This place is great for birthday parties, or just sitting down with family for some yummy pizza.

Pizza was decent, but pricey for what it was. The atmosphere needs some work. We were the only guests at the time of the visit. Music was sporadic mixed in with an almost creepy blaring of the game machines out of the silence.

Reasons we love Alexander’s? #1, best pizza in the area, it’s been our favorite for 16 years. #2, “Em” she’s a total sweetheart and we love to support great workers. #3, the newer guy “Josh”, funny and hilarious. I mean, great food, consistently great service and a fun atmosphere… what’s not to love? Keep it up Alexander’s. You’ve got the perfect mix going on.
