We were recently recommended to visit Alexander’s Garden restaurant in Naples.
This experience turned out to be quite delightful.
The restaurant is not very noticeable from the street, but upon entering, it reveals a beautiful atmosphere.
There are numerous outdoor tables in the central square, in addition to indoor seating.
The decor is stylish, featuring a bar at the entrance.
The food was simply outstanding. We began with the Phyllo Wrapped Shrimp and enjoyed the Squash Ravioli and the Scallop Salmon as our main courses.
Our server was exceptionally kind, as was the owner, Monica.
They both ensured that we had a wonderful evening.
It can get quite busy, so be sure to make a reservation and savor the excellent ambiance and cuisine.

Went there for a birthday dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed the “date night” early dining special, which included soup or salad, tenderloin or grouper, and bottle of Cabernet or Chardonnay for $87. The service was impeccable, especially from our server John. The atmosphere is wonderful, whether dining inside or on the patio. Alexander’s is a wonderful experience.

So disappointed with our dinner & the entire experience last night at Alexander’s.. I made my reservation online a month ago. We were taking good friends who had never been, to share one of our favorite restaurants.
We were all excited, especially when they walked in to the beautiful out door setting.
When I checked in with the host, she tells me I don’t have a reservation- such a bad feeling when I made the reservation for our friends. The hostess said maybe I made it at
J Alexander’s- I showed her my reservation on my phone, and finally she located it with my phone number. But we still don’t have a table. They had to make a table and we ended up being at a dark table furthest away from the beautiful light’s & wonderful atmosphere.
My husband and his friend each ordered the Veal Alexander’s. Their signature Veal dishes came out cold and had to be sent back.
My friend & I had Mushroom ravioli which were very good. We also did enjoy our salads & cocktails.
Overall, it was not what we have come to expect from our favorite restaurant in Naples.

This is a gem of a find in Naples. Open during high season only and closed during hot months of summer. It is difficult to get a seat and reservations are highly recommended. I have been fortunate as I travel and stay at the hotel next door and stumbled upon this place by accident. There always seems to be a single seat at the bar when I go that is not reserved so I’ve been very lucky. I’ve eaten here a handful of times and have always had a great meal. The duck is incredible, Risotto delicious and they pour a great cocktail. Bartender is very friendly as are all of the patrons that frequent it. I’ve met numerous locals and people traveling that all have exceptional stories. When anyone asks me where to eat I send them here.

This place is absolutely magical!!! The ambience is perfection. Our server Kathryn was so friendly and knowledgeable. The food choices are so diverse ii had a hard time choosing with all the additional specials. Our friends said this was THE BEST PLACE they had dined at (and we dine out regularly trying to find the treasure spot). My husband got the venison and said ithat it was delish. My girlfriend said that she grew up eating venison and it’s too gamey. She finally tried his and could not believe how great it was. I had filet mignon, which was very tasty and cooked to the right temperature. Our friend had the Cioppino and loved it.
This is a must when you have friends and family in town or for a romantic dinner. Thanks Chef and Kathryn!!!!

I am editing my review. Someone from the restaurant posted a reply and apologized because there was no lobster in the risotto. I forgot to mention it when I wrote the review. I also got the price wrong. It was $47 not $42 which actually makes the whole thing worse. I appreciate the apology. It was a very nice evening to have dinner outside. The drinks were very good. Had the shrimp tempura as an appetizer. It wasn’t very good. First of all it wasn’t tempura. It was just fried. And it had some weird sauce on it. Not good. The wedge salad was good. The beef bourgignon my wife had was very good. The seafood risotto I had was good, but for $47 I expect more than just one scallop. It was supposed to be lobster, shrimp and scallop and there was no lobster at all. There were four shrimp and one scallop. Why not two and two? I found the portions to be on the smaller side. Overall it was good, but I doubt we’ll return.

We have a family reunion at Alexander this Wednesday. The food and service was excellent. We stay and enjoy our lunch at their outdoor setting. The garden is manicured to perfection. Recommend Lobster bisque, Cream of mushroom soups, scallops with creamy mushrooms sauce, crispy fish fry sandwich. Lobster BLT.

If I could give 100 stars I would. This is a beautiful, quaint restaurant with impeccable service, delicious food, fine dining ambiance , the most attentive social staff, and beautiful art decor. I sat at the bar over lunch. The owner was back cooking lunches, the food runner was seamless and so in sync with kitchen and waitstaff. Every server knew the restaurant history and takes great pride in their work. I couldn’t be more impressed and will definitely be back once in town again. Thank you for raising the bar so high that 99% can’t attain. Congratulations on your well earned success! I chose the snapper. Wow! Loved the sauce and veggies!!

Fantastic find. Asked me he clerk at a store for a restaurant recommendation. He said he worked there and it’s good. The woman behind us in line agreed so we decide to try. Service was excellent as well as the food. Nice atmosphere outside under the trees and lighting. We had the Thai salad and snapper. Both excellent. Highly recommend.
