The servers were completely overwhelmed, so they either need another bar in the airport or hire more servers. Then, we paid $70 for two beers, a margarita, and gas station type sandwich out of their cooler (plus tip). Understandable to a degree since it was in the airport but still a little outrageous. With the new airport upgrades, I think they could do so much better.

Ordered a Michelun and vodka Punch, total was $42, I didn’t questioned and just told myself not to order there anymore, but my husband decided to order another beer and was charged $7.50, when I asked the server Christina about the price of my earlier drink, she seemed confused and not sure of the price. Be careful when ordering here, the drink was good but not worth $34.

I stopped by Aletitude at AVL to grab a quick bite before my flight. While the staff was very friendly and the service was efficient, the actual food experience was disappointing.
The menu options for to-go items felt a bit limited and poor, but the “Roman” sandwich initially looked like a great choice through the packaging. Unfortunately, looks were deceiving. Once I opened it, I found brown, wilted salad greens inside the sandwich, which made it unappetizing.
To make matters worse, there seems to be a disconnect at the register, as they rang up the wrong items, leading to a bit of confusion with the pricing.
The Bottom Line: Double-check your receipt and inspect the freshness of the grab-and-go food before you head to your gate.

The staff here is terrible on a new level of bad. They served me a drink at first and then when I asked for a water, they tried to charge me for the ice and cup. The guy next to be said they tried to do the same thing to him. Apparently if you go along with it they don’t have any issue with charging you for tap water, which is free btw. Avoid if you can…

After spending $23 for 2 sandwiches and then tipping the nice lady behind the bar $4, I returned 25 mins later to throw my tiny bit of trash away because there were No Trash cans in this side of the airport, a new lady was there and she said I couldn’t throw my 2 coffee cups away, because I bought them at a different store! She said I had to walk down 3 gates to throw them away! The original lady intervened and said it was okay. I said to the 1st lady that I just bought 2 sandwiches here, but she was adamant in telling me that because the 2 styrofoam coffee cups came from another store, that I would have to walk to the other side to use the only airport trash can! Unbelievable!!! What terrible hospitality. Makes you not want to use Asheville airport! She definitely needs more training in hospitality. Unfortunately after a wonderful time in Asheville, we were leaving feeling unwelcome by this other lady. 8-23-2025 at 9:00AM.
