When I started coming here 25 years ago, I thought I had experience great Italian food. Until…dining here over the years is like taking a culinary journey through Italy. From Sicily and its Arab, Greek, Spanish influences; sweet–savory contrast, to Cambrian’s peasant food with intensely aggressive flavors, to Calabria’s deliberately simple, ingredient-driven food centered on beans, bread, olive oil, and grilled meats. to the northern aristocratic cuisine of Milan and luxurious northern cooking centered on butter, rice, cream, and slow-braised meats. Rissotto and ossobuco to name two staples of this dining establishment. Every thing served al minuto, hot, excellent presentation. Homemade bread and handmade pizza round out the experience. Every trip is a tour via their well thought out menu, wine list and bar selections. You are worth this trip to Italy, take it.

We frequent this awesome Italian restaurant whenever we are in geneva. Super friendly family restaurant. Can’t go wrong with any of the chefs family waiting on you. They are attentive and always greet with a smile no matter how busy they are. Get there early or go late. There’s a reason for this. The food and family speak for themselves. Highly recommend. Revisited after about 6 years. 10 minute wait on a Saturday was acceptable as they do not take reservations. Found the service, especially our waiter, Giuseppe, excellent. Food was tasty but lacked a little in the presentation. This is not a place for a romantic dinner as the setting is that of an Italian Sunday dinner. All in all, enjoyed our time and will recommend.

This place was amazing. I didn’t expect to find such a good restaurant away from everything. The food was delicious, I ordered the lasagna. It came with a salad and unlimited homemade bread. I finished my plate, the bread, and the salad. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a good Italian dinner. Staff was amazing and Giuseppe was checking to make sure I was okay and to make sure I had everything I needed. Will definitely return many times to this place. Alessandro’s blew us away and was such a Mother’s Day treat! This chef is very skilled at creating great specials, with fine ingredients and technique.
From Mussels to Scallops and Oso Bucco, all were perfect! It was also special to meet young people that provide great service and enjoy their work
We lucked in to finding this place, but if you were looking for a great, yet casual and friendly vibe, drive out of your way to come here.
And do admire the sunset too.
