She has been in the restaurant business since 2005. Alejandra comes from the beautiful state of Chiapas, Mexico. First time visiting this restaurant and we’re so happy we found it. Right when we entered we were greeted by the nicest waiter. We had choice of seats. They have bar seating, indoor seating, outdoor seating, they even had rocking chairs in the patio. They have a beautiful garden area with additional seating. You get chips and Verde salsa to start while you check out the menu. We got the carne asada Quesadilla. It’s a stuffed Quesadilla with lettuce, guacamole, sour cream tomatoes etc. The steak was so good. We also got the asada fries with shredded chicken. The chicken is grilled on the flat top and seasoned, bringing a nice crunch.
The menu is huge. They have a full breakfast menu. I highly recommend you stop by and support a family owned business.

I simply love this place! The prices cannot be beat. $2 Taco Tuesday will satisfy and delight. I had the al pastor and carne asada versions with a refreshing michelada. First time trying this colorful and flavorful beverage. Fresh shrimp and cucumber with tahin rim. Service was incredible and very pleasant. I can hardly wait for next Tuesday!

Very positive and friendly vibe with delicious food and generous portions. The wet burrito can easily be two meals. Their house made chips and the two salsas we had were both great. The fresh and crunchy chips ensured the chiliquiles has the perfect texture.

I am constantly on the road, had been driving and needed a break. Felt like mexican food, pulled in and instantly fell asleep. Hours go by and was approached by the owner, who had general concern for my safety, no worries about my intentions to buy food or not. I went back to sleep and he checked on me to see if was still breathing. Now I knew I had to buy a plate from him.
Now onto the food. Got carnitas taco plate and a carnitas burrito. Well wouldn’t you know it? The love and kindness this man Nacho, and his wife Ale, shows so much in their food that I felt welcomed as if I was at their home for my favorite meal. If you do not visit this place in your life for the greatness and quality of their food, make it t I urge goal to see how a real human being behaves to his fellow human being. Humble yet very pleasant place with top-notch food and friendly staff! The free chips and salsa are so good, you’ll almost feel like making a meal out of them. But save room for the food! I thoroughly enjoyed my carnitas chimichanga. My husband had a huge chile verde enchiladas plate AND a taco! Comfortable indoor dining but outdoors is even better. The patio is nice but at least 4 more tables could be put out there, with pretty lights & potted plants. Ole!

We were passing by from pismo and were looking for Mexican food and we came across Ale’s. Got there about 30 mins from closing and the staff were very attentive and nice. We ordered 4 meals and made us fresh chips which were delicious. I ordered a shrimp/octopus cocktail and it was delicious. I did find 2 pieces of plastic which I presume it was from the shrimp bags. Nonetheless, I continued to eat. The shrimp soup was very yummy. I can’t wait to be back and hopefully an earlier time. Thank you the staff for feeding my family.

Grabbed lunch with my french parents, amazing experience and very welcoming service. My parents loved the food and felt relieved that it genuinely tasted like a proper restaurant and not a fast food. By far the best Mexican food I’ve experienced in the US, really good, rich in flavors, generous portions, reasonable price and not oily nor greasy. I strongly recommend!
