What a fantastic restaurant. Syrian food, and exceptional quality. We had the falafel wraps and tabbouleh. We had the good fortune to sit next to relatives of the owners, And he was gracious enough to share the kibbie, I believe it was the best I have ever had! We then took the baklava home with us. Absolutely delicious, which we enjoyed later in the evening. Highly recommend. I would definitely go back when I was in the area.

The best of the best. Kind, friendly owners and staff, amazing atmosphere, and the food is outstanding – best falafel I’ve ever had. Make sure you try the mint tea when you go there!

Do not miss the baklava! Unassuming, cozy cafe with simple, but delicious Mediterranean food. Counter service.

I’ve been here the last two times I’ve visited Providence and I can’t imagine not coming here every single time I visit in the future. The food is amazing! We were so excited for our dishes, I didn’t even remember to take a photo until everything was gone. The best I can do is share a photo of the perfection that is the baklava ice cream sandwich.

10/10 recommend Aleppo Sweets! From the sweets to the actual food. Everything is so valid. Highly recommend stopping here if you in the providence area and are in the mood for Arab food. Some of the best in providence hands down.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. Even though I can walk to many restaurants, this is the one I come back too. It is definitely worth a visit!

Delicious. Next time I probably won’t get the mint inside the falafel wrap due to preference, but I could appreciate the dynamic of having the mint in it. Definitely adding Aleppo into my Providence dining rotation.

Hands down the best restaurant in Providence. The restaurant itself is cute, clean, and overall a very inviting space. Excellent for a longer, more relaxed lunch. The true standout, however, is the food. I ordered the falafel, the dolmas, and the hummus— all were superb. I went back several times. Both the food and the space are crafted with passion and attention to detail. Aleppo Sweets is well worth the trek.

Ordered the baklava and drinks. Baklava was a tremendous treat (small portions, but sweet). Though we took it to go, the cafe looked like a nice pace to go for lunch. I also ordered the Ginger Cardamom Mint Tea (iced) which was on point for a warm day.

It was really busy on a weekday at dinnertime. You can tell that this place is really popular among locals and college students – not only were all the tables filled, but there was also a decent line at the counter ordering takeout or waiting for a spot to open up.
