The service speed is below average. The atmosphere is average. And I used to like the food, but tonight there was literally a fly carcass is my steak fajitas. It had been in there, hidden by the charring of the steak, and I had no idea until I was half through it. I’ve never had the fajitas here before, I usually only order them at RR, but now idk if can go back.

Was in the neighborhood and looking for a good breakfast burrito, and found it! I ordered an egg and chorizo burrito and was given the option to add cheese and potatoes at no charge. Obviously I did lol. It was delicious! The service was quick and friendly. I definitely recommend this place and by the way they serve breakfast all day.

They have Hot Cheeto items!! Seriously delicious burrito and quesadilla, doesn’t matter what meat you choose. I got the burrito smothered, and they use the best cheese for that. Prices range from $2.25 for tacos to the specialty items of $11. Super reasonable for how much you get and how fresh it is.

I used to sing the praises for Alejandro’s for many years and I ordered it tonight to introduce a friend to it. What I got doesn’t look like the place I used to know. The food is slumped in the to go box like it was dropped, and there was liquid in the bad. This is appalling. Alejandro’s used to be a quality Mexican place before the owners sold it to the new people. This is a textbook case of running a business into the ground.

The shredded beef tacos are amazing. But nowadays I like to grab a few carne asada tacos with a side of consomme. My guilty pleasure.
Edit. I’ve eaten here again recently. The birria tacos are amazing, I finally added a picture of the consomme, which is delicious. Most underrated taco joint in SE Wichita.
A place near my home I thoroughly enjoy, but haven’t made it there too often lately, is Alejandro’s. I pretty much usually only order tacos or a chorizo burrito when I come here, but today, I decided to shake things up. I went with the queso birria with consomme. Without a doubt it’s the best decision I could have ever made when visiting. Between the shredded beef (which I adore) to the cheese pull on it, I couldn’t ask for anything more. Well, maybe I could, because the consomme is always the most satisfying part of the meal here. Usually when I order tacos at Alejandro’s, I always get a side of it. It’s something I highly suggest you consider when visiting a restaurant similar to them.

Grabbed a Barbicoa burrito at the drive through. It was huge! I swear it weighed three pounds. The meat was amazingly juicy and tender. Quick service, great food, and huge quantities! Great spot for a quick lunch!

We had a great visit here. The staff was really nice. For the fast service, some food was precooked, as my burrito was. The quesadillas were cooked fresh. The chimichanga was pretty good. As well was the Tomales. We would definitely return.
