Friendly, hardworking people. Wonderful food. Great variety. Outdoor seating available. Fun, authentic atmosphere. Breaksfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and drinks. You can’t beat this well rounded Mexican spot in Hernando County!!!

Stopped by Alejandro’s for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It’s located in a plaza, so I didn’t expect the interior to be so festive and nicely decorated. Fun atmosphere!
We came in for brunch and were greeted by kind, welcoming staff. It feels like a family-run place, and the service was warm and attentive. We ordered the steak and eggs, chicken fajitas, Mahi Mahi and shrimp, and a side of guacamole. The guac came in the cutest bowl and was a large portion. Everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful, with generous portions all around.
Great first experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We stopped for lunch. Had no idea what to expect. Very friendly and quick service. When you walk in, it seems a bit gimmicky, so we were not expecting much. All of us ordered our favorites, expecting to be disappointed. We were not. I wish I had taken pictures. I will next time. Yes we definitely will be going back. I highly recommend Alejandro’s.

We have been here numerous times and have always had great food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. If you are into hot sauces, this is the place to come to: they have many different kinds on the table to try and sell them in the attached shop. Ask about their homemade hot sauce.

We didn’t originally plan to visit this restaurant, but when we went to Brooksville last week, we Googled nearby restaurants n this one popped up … It had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I really loved the atmosphere, n the server was very pleasant. I ordered the Devil’s Shrimp, but I didn’t realize it would be that spicy. Unfortunately, I couldn’t handle the heat … I’m a fan of spicy food n can usually handle a lot, but this was a bit too much for me. If u plan to order it, you should be able to handle extra spicy ! Everything else was great. My husband really enjoyed his meal, though I didn’t taste it since I don’t eat beef n pork. I definitely recommend this place, n we will absolutely visit again …

1st time here; it was truly amazing. Probably one of the very best Mexican restaurants I have been to, portions are huge and the place is immaculate.
The shrimp on the fajitas were cooked perfectly. The guacamole was delicious and tasted homemade. The nachos were huge and very tasty.
It was over thirty minutes away but definitely worth the trip!
Thank you!!

Coronarita, another margarita, beef burrito, pick 2 with beef taco & shrimp enchilada with rice & beans… all was absolutely delicious! This is the best Mexican food in Brooksville

The food was amazing! Our group ordered so much of it and sampled it all. The shrimp ceviche was so fresh and light. The Mexican street corn was so good. Honestly, everything I tried tasted like fresh ingredients cooked to perfection – tamales, tacos, fajitas. Everything was decently priced and portions were massive. The staff was so friendly. We hung around outside for a while, and the owner came to just talk with us and share some friendly stories. We had a great time and I recommend anyone in the area try this little gem.

2nd visit and we absolutely LOVED it!
My wife and I always seek delicious top shelf margaritas. That being the case we started with the Cadillac margarita at Alejandro’s and it did not disappoint. Wonderful flavor! So much better than a garden variety weak margarita that just tastes like sour mix!
We started with the queso fundido. We order that every time we see it on the menu at a Mexican restaurant. Theirs was one of the best examples of the dish that we’ve had. Absolutely delicous.
Wife got a chicken taco salad and I got Chiles Relleno stuffed with shrimp. The portion size for both dishes was quite generous. I must have rice and beans with my meal when I have Mexican food and their refried beans are to die for!
The price for the entire meal was also significantly cheaper than another local establishment we’d been going to that’s way over on the other side of town.
This is now our go to Mexican restaurant. Can’t wait to go back
