Excellent place for a true craft beer enthusiast. Balanced offerings from BA stouts to hard to find IPAs. The owner claims to offer over 700 different beers through out the year and I 100% believe him.

Great beer selection and awesome owner. Loved trying this place. Owner is super knowledgeable about beer and an overall good human. Will definitely be back.

Ordered two drinks, the total being less than $20. Left the bartender a cash tip. I checked my account a few days later, and saw that I was charged $20 even. Meaning, the bartender added a tip to the receipt without my consent. Called the owner, or, a gentleman I assume is the owner and heard nothing back. Very shady and unprofessional. Be warry of this establishment.

What a gem to come across in this town in the middle of nowhere! Lots of craft brews on both tap and bottle, friendly and efficient service, great music playing on the stereo, and small and intimate atmosphere. If one is into the craft beer scene this is definitely the place to go in Redding. Highly recommended. No kitchen here though.

Dive bar with heavy metal music. Cute bartender and a good selection of beer on tap. If you are staying at the La Quinta Inn, it is conveniently located right across the street.

We ended up here by chance on October 30th after we did the Nash Ranch Dreams of Darkness, so were wer in costume. Glad to the bar was full of costumed revelers, as well! A few ppl were friendly, not sure if it was bc everyone was already well-toasted or bc we were unfamiliar, folks seemed to know each other. Pleasant enough, we stayed awhile before our hour drive back south to the hinterlands.

Love the beer selection. Even in summer they have something for everyone. Being able to order takeout from a restaurant and bring it in to enjoy with our beer was a major perk. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere.

Surrounded by numerous hotels, that house mostly construction workers, freight movers, and road trip passerbys, this place exudes serious locals/working class only vibes. But with a craft beer twist.
Better head to the liquor store if you want domestic.
Unfortunately the execution is lazy and typical of a place that only cares to cater to their regulars who order the same things every visit.
The place isn’t big, and has their menu posted on a chalkboard in the center of the bar. It can barely be read due to poor lighting and the fact that someone thought it a good idea to use dark green chalk.
30+taps but don’t expect them all to be available. Coupled with multiple taps dedicated to single breweries, don’t expect as much variety as implied.
The variety was objectively above average; 3 nitro, 2 sours, 2 ciders, a few IPA (no hazy), 3 Belgian strong but also decidedly skewed with 5 seltzers, 1 lager, and no red, brown, or pale ales. Most of the beers are from California breweries south of Redding. Ashame nothing was hyper local. Bottles were virtually non-existent. I’m sure the list will change somewhat in a few weeks to months, but don’t expect anything else to.
Bring your own food. Last call is at 1030pm. Be prepared to be outta there by 11 sharp.

Alehouse Pub is a great local pub with the absolute BEST selection of craft beer. They even usually have sours on tap. The regular patrons are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the staff knows the answer to every question you can think of, including “what beer do you think I’ll like?”
