Thank you for making it a wonderful Valentine’s Day. The service and quality of sushi was phenomenal. I’m hoping the Tropical Sweet Roll makes the regular menu. That was delicious. The rice is so light and the sauces were very tasty. Love a good sauce. Definitely will be coming back.

If I could give this place 10 stars I’d give them 11!! I don’t want to spoil this spot for myself but this is the best sushi I’ve had in the Madison area. There. I said it. I moved here 22 years ago from the west coast, and the freshness of their salmon was divine. I am more of a tuna girl, but this salmon may have changed my mind. Everything we ate was amazing. Their fresh horchata was also, by far, the best I’ve had. And from a Japanese restaurant? Who knew!
When I say this was the best dining experience I’ve ever had, I mean the service made me want to bring a sleeping bag and spend the night. We felt so welcomed and taken care of, who would have known this inconspicuous little restaurant would have pure gold hidden inside.

A wonderful evening was had with my girlfriend and it began with dinner at Tuna Izakaya. A quaint little sushi restaurant in Sun Prairie. Our server, Connor, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were offered a free bowl of misso soup which was very tasty. My girlfriend having never had sushi before was a little hesitant but after some suggestions from Connor she settled in the Futaba and Boston rolls. I had the Naguro and spicy salmon rolls with several pieces of sashimi. The presentation was very nicely done as well as portions being a good value. Both of our meals were very good. If you enjoy a nice quiet place for sushi done right, Tuna Izakaya fits the bill. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

This was our first time eating here and it was AMAZING! The waiter was so helpful and kind and answered any questions we had about the menu. They treated us to a special drink and the food was delicious. All of the sauces except the soy sauce is made in house and the menu changes every so often to keep it fresh and new. I would highly recommend Ale Tuna. Very high quality ingredients and carefully made by a talented sushi chef.

I tried tuna for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were super friendly and brought us a strawberry refresher with a little iced bear in it, which was super cute!
Then, they brought us deep-fried bananas while we were waiting for our sushi rolls.
When the plates came, the artwork and the beauty of the sushi platter was stunning! Try them if you have the chance. It’s great!

Outstanding customer service! I’ve never been to a place that cares for their customers more than Ale Tuna Izakaya! We were given free appetizers and cake for no extra charge. The server is extremely nice and definitely cares for the customers. The attention to detail for each entree is outstanding. I will definitely back.

Overall, what a great experience! Unfortunately, when we visited, the bathrooms were out of service that definitely is a downfall!! The food was delicious. It’s a new restaurant — they may need to work out the newbie kinks
1. Clean the restaurant when the last customer leaves for the day not before the first customer arrives because the restaurant will smell like disinfectant
2, When serving tea, it’s best to use a cup with a handle so it’s comfortable to hold, and include a small saucer for the teabag or spoon.
That being said, The overall experience and the deliciousness of food, we walked away, knowing we will be back soon and rated this experience very high

Conor made the experience really comfortable and answered all of our questions with knowledge. The sushi was amazing! Probably the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be returning in the future. We came from Madison and it was worth the drive!

This was BY FAR the best experience we’ve had getting sushi in the Madison area. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was IMMACULATE, and the service was outstanding. Both appetizers and all 3 rolls we got were unbelievable. We cannot wait to return!!!
