Love the vibes of this place. A wide range of variety of styles of beer to try which is also a plus to see. Really enjoyed the gaming setup stuff in the booths. Aldus has light food menu but they have QR codes to order food from the Hotel Hanover and they’ll deliver to your table.

Chill place with plenty of brews to select from. Seriously, it was a calm and mellow place that was not loud at all when I came here. They had some smooth jazz on the speakers to add to the aviance. It is split into two areas depending on your group size. There is a small seating area outside for those that want some Sun as well.
Not only is the place chill but so was the staff. Very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. They even changed the TVs for some patrons who wanted another sport to play. They have games and puzzles which I have not seen at a bar.
I am a red lager person, so I got their Red Flannel Lager. Seating was plentiful so I got a table near the bar. I wanted some food as I hadn’t eaten all day. They don’t have food onsite but you can order from The Hotel Hanover. There is a QR code to scan to see the menu which has a lot. I ended up getting the Super Charlie Melt with fries. It was a bit of a pain to cut the bread with plastic utensils but worth the work.
Before I left, I grabbed a six-pack of the Red Flannel Lager for home. If you happen to be in downtown Hanover, I recommend this place to rest your weary feet and grab a cold one.

We absolutely loved the beer here! My wife and I each tried a couple and enjoyed them all. The staff seemed genuinely pleased to give us recommendations and happy to have us there. The food was from the hotel next door and was pretty good, but just wasn’t quite as top notch as Aldus. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad but while I’ll go back for the beer, I’m just not raving about the food.
We had the garlic buffalo wings which were okay, but the flavor was mild. The tots we ordered skimped on all the toppings (supposed to have bacon, cheddar and sour cream but barely had a scattering. A definite skip) and the tuna wontons were the high point as the flavor was great and the tuna was delicious.

First time here and found the drink selection pretty nice. If you can’t find something you like you’re too snooty and shouldn’t leave your house. Good atmosphere and great service. Really friendly staff and knowledgeable of the drinks. I found it more laid back and quiet than other brew houses, which I enjoyed. A nice place to end the nice after a dinner at Oak that’s right down the street.

Great brews. They make ordering food from Hotel Hanover very easy and it is always great. Love the space too!

A library within a bar. Spacious place with a side room. Had a Luponic Grove N.E. I.P.A., which I would describe as a cream sickle jammed into a beer glass! We had a great time here, sitting out the rain.

Large selection of beer!! Nice bar and great staff! The Count Stoutula on nitro is my all time favorite Aldus beer. The Going Deustch and Pretzel Wheat are great beers too.

The new location is amazing. More beers on tap. More seats. Super comfy space to sit with darts, games, and shuffleboard. The beers are expertly crafted and resist the temptation to be overly hoppy. The Dolphin and Anchor Pub Ale is my favorite.

“The Drop” is absolutely delicious. Every beer they make is something special. Food service is quick and easy too and good. Better than what you can get at most breweries.

Food came in a plastic bag, like the kind you toss the trash out in. No plates (just black plastic clam shells to eat out of). No silverware (server gave one of those plastic packets with white plastic spoon, fork, knife, like you get on a plane.) Totally weird way to serve dine-in food. Never seen anything like it. And it wasn’t cheap. Beer was fine and barman was pleasant.
