Today was my first time here and it was truly amazing!!! Met the owner when I accidentally went in to the bar side to pick up an order and he was so awesome and kind, and friendly. When I went to the other side to pick up my food lady who helped with my order was so nice and helpful. Shout out to who ever made the pizza also because it was truly amazing. Best margarita pizza I have ever had in my whole life. The atmosphere was perfect! I will definitely celebrate my 21st birthday here!

The waitress never checked in on us. We were one of two tables she had to serve. The other waitress had 7+ tables and was rocking it out. Our waitress asked us what we would like and we were very specific for our daughter and she put in the absolute wrong order after waiting over 45 minutes, she came out with the absolute wrong meal. She then proceeded to argue with us and tell us we were wrong. Then they complained about having to comp the wrong meal that we didn’t even accept. Then after dividing our food for our daughter to at least eat something, we eventually got the bill and they explained they comp’d the meal we never even got “as a courtesy to us”. Then I asked for the manager. A little while later he came out asked what was wrong. I tried to explain, he cut me off short and said “what happened happened, what do you want me to do about it”. “How can I make it right for you?” So I said $10-15 off the meal we actually received and he huffed and stormed off. Never confirmed anything. We waited another 20 minutes for anyone to come back to the table and explain the situation and we had no contact with anyone. We went to the front and I got a crappy attitude from one of the waitresses and I explained the situation. She didn’t care. I confirmed I had to still pay full price for only the food I received. And she said yeah no extra discount. Acting like she discounted something already? (She took the meal off that never made it to our table) I’ve had a few very pleasant experiences there before but after tonight I will never and I mean never go back there. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Food wasn’t bad, actually quite good. But the disrespect and attitude from the staff? Incredibly uncalled for. Worst service ever. I hope the waitress that was doing such a phenomenal job doesn’t have to work there much longer and go find another job where he boss and coworkers aren’t so poor at their jobs.

A group of us (17) went to Aldo’s after attending a wake at a nearby funeral home. They were so accommodating with very little notice. Best pizza I have had in a long time (and I grew up in Chicago!). The wait staff were great and Aldo greeted us when we walked through the door. I live in Rockford but would drive the half hour for the Aldo pizza.

I was very disappointed in the whole way this went down the manager would not come out and talk to me finally the owner did and it turned out that I just wanted it says on the menu that you could get garlic bread well when she told me I was getting a garlic stick I said well can you make me some french bread and warm it up is she proceeded to say yeah for a charge of 5.99 so finally when the manager came out he said well garlic stick is bread and I’m just thinking to myself really and then the prices are different than the menu which usually they put the service charge for the credit card at the end they couldn’t explain to me why it said 13.49 on the menu for charged me 14.03 I said I wanted a side of meatballs for $2 they gave me three meatballs for 4.16 would not adjust it said the waitress said I said extra I asked which she said no you didn’t say extra and they wouldn’t change it. Then he proceeds to offer me some type of Walnut dessert I already had dessert. He did come up to me with a little tone but I didn’t have a tone I just didn’t understand and the fact that he wanted to tell me that a garlic stick is garlic but maybe I need to change the menu but you’re the only one who’s complained just pay attention to your checks and here’s what I’ll show you look at my pictures
Nobody should really be that desperate to make a buck that the customer leaves saddened and puts their waitresses in the middle instead of handling it themselves

Very historic old school downtown a restaurant but it just did not have a vibe. The food was very average, had a salad a pizza and some pasta. Everything was just kind of OK blah… Nice people working, could be really cool, but food needs some work.

1st time here. Old fashion inside and dated, but clean. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Beer nuggets were very pillowy and good. Large irder fed 4 adults. Special pizza was delicious. Stringy melty cheese. Teens loved the pepperoni pizza. Well priced and affordable. Will go again. Love supporting local businesses.

I used to work here and decided to bring boyfriend in because he had been wanting to go for a while. We ordered spaghetti and the stuffed shells with Alfredo sauce. After we left, He said “we are definitely coming back soon for that spaghetti.” The portions were big meaning we had plenty of leftovers, prices are great for the amount of food you get, our waitress, Heather, was attentive and kind along with the rest of the staff, and the atmosphere is very homey. Perfect place for a date or just to get some good food. 100% worth the hour drive.

A wonderful little Italian restaurant in Rochelle that has affordable prices, friendly staff, and a great selection of food. My friend and I had the meat lovers pizza which was an excellent pizza, and there was a good amount of vegetarian options so our vegetarian friend did not feel left out. If I’m back in Rochelle I will seriously consider coming back here.
