I arrived within minutes of closing, and sincerely welcomed. Ordered a fresh romaine salad adorned with gently smoked pork loin, every fresh vegetable I would want, and real buttermilk ranch dressing. It was luscious, and more than I could finish during a brief lunch. It’s still fresh this evening as a midnight snack. The owners look to be honest, hard working townsfolk, and if you have even a passing fancy for smoked meat Alder Smokehouse will reward you for your time, and portion of your budget.

Glad I trusted the reviews! This place was great. I had one of the best French dips I’ve ever had and the au jus was extra awesome. They served it with chips and some great Pico de galo. The service was also exceptional.

My very favorite EVER French dip sandwich. They expertly smoke the meat. Slice it nice and thin and pile it super high. I love it so much I have never ordered any other sandwich. Do be aware that sometimes they run out of the roast beef..I always call ahead to make sure it’s available. I see people enjoying everything from the menu….and make a special trip just for their wonderful sandwiches. And the owner is just the greatest. Oh and their ranch dressing is homemade I’m sure… it’s so delicious.

This place is so good! I wish I could eat here way more often. The hours of business are somewhat limited. But if you find yourself in North Bend around lunch time during the week, not Monday, you should eat here if you haven’t yet. Thursday is burger day, they are huge & delicious. Salads, wraps, sandwiches & dinner combos all with amazing BBQ. Get some you wont be sorry.

Ate here yesterday. The grub was great, the prices a bit steep for my taste, we spent really close to $40 for 2 of us. There was enough food to fill me up and my wife had part of a chicken breast left for later.
We bought the coleslaw & carrot salad for sides, they were great! My wife got 2 of the PB cookies heavily drizzled with chocolate and reported that she absolutely loved them.
The smoke flavor in all the meat we got (turkey, chicken & beef) tasted great and the bbq sauce was pretty good too, to spicy for my taste but I also have an issue with spiciness after my accident 17 years ago.
Please go try this place for yourselves, you can eat in or order to go, by either phone or online.

I cannot get enough of this place! My favorite is the “Cue-Pit” and they never disappoint. The ladies working there are funny, bright and friendly. Their smiles will make a bad day better and the food – untouchable. They don’t forget items with your order and the value is amazing! Go here if you want GREAT smokehouse bbq.

Great food, even better prices! I love their pulled pork and garlic bread. Can’t beat their bbq sauce eithet. Super easy stop on the way to work if you call in the order, or even eat in if you have the time. Very sweet employees and great atmosphere.

Good quality smoked meats, we got the turkey, tri-tip and chicken breast. It was all great with nice smoke ring on the tri-tip. Next time I will get the pulled pork. Good quality on the smoking. Ample parking, and was not crowded for lunch.
