This is my second time eating dinner at Aldeia. The food is incredible and delicious. Gustavo is an amazing server! He’s very pleasant and always provides the best service. They confused our food and brought our meal before the appetizer. Took the food back, confused us, like they could have left the food.
The cod balls are pre-made by machine frozen, to be precise.
Order the steak with egg. Unfortunately, the steak is extremely fatty.
This place is not portuguese .
Go to Naugatuck if you want authentic food from the old world.

Camarão a Mozambique is SO good. So far I’ve had the picanha, camarão, ovos rotos, salmon, seafood pasta, and bacalhau and recommend all! Erika is a great bartender and all the staff are so welcoming. I love seeing the restaurant owners every time I come in because it shows their dedication to excellence. Today I was pleasantly surprised to come in and see they turned the bar to pink in honor of a wonderful little girl in our community. They didn’t know this family, have any connection, or even asked to do this but they wanted to support the Hartford Portuguese community. It goes to show how kind, detailed oriented, humble and observant they are to the patrons who come through their doors.

Tried calling the number given online, went immediately to voice mail, asking for a message to a completely different number, abandoned that, went to google Assistant, they tried 5 times, no luck there, I believe this business is bogus!
