I’ve lived in the area for a number of years and have never stopped in here, regrettably. Lakeside coffee house is my freaking jam! The atmosphere is really relaxing, soft background music, and coffeehouse aroma. Will definitely be spending my mornings here!

Wednesday, February 11th I visited this place and tried the tiramisu latte and rose latte, and they were absolutely delicious. It left such a great impression on me.
So todayFeb23, on my birthday, I came back with my son and his wife, excited to share that experience with them. We ordered one latte, one rose latte, and one tiramisu latte.
However, what we received today was quite disappointing. Both the appearance and the taste were indistinguishable, and they all tasted like regular lattes.
It was a special day for me, and I was really looking forward to it, so this experience was quite upsetting.
Because I had such a great experience before, this made it even more disappointing.

“I really love the coffee you make, so I visited again recently. However, I was a bit disappointed because the quality and presentation were quite different from the last time. I’m a big fan of your lattes, so I hope to enjoy that same great quality every time I visit!”

absolutely vile food, the lake is so pretty tho!! the matcha was so disgusting and watery!! We had to add so many sugar packets in it for it to be bearable!! Ordered the spinach and feta croissant and it was genuinely not what a spinach and feta croissant is. Belgian waffles were good but too expensive for the small portion. Bring your own food and just go to the lake!

Asia was a peach to chat with while making a tiramisu latte love talk to the younger generation about life. This coffee shop sits on water but i did not get a chance to enjoy and there is sileating inside with plenty of window providing a water view. Lota of scrumptous choices to choose from ..mini almond biscotti, almond croissant, chocolate, small premium clorhing options…wifii access and just a cute cozy place to meet with a friend or hop online and get some work done.. restroom access, fresh water…enjoy because i sure did!!

We had our first experience and it was wonderful! This is great chill place to study, read, or maybe even nap outside by the lake in the outdoor seating once it warms up. My daughter had the waffles and bacon, and I had the ham n cheddar croissant with chips. My daughter said these were the best waffles she had tasted over 3 places that I named and I had to agree!!! We have been in this area for 6 years and so glad we came in. The seating is cozy “close” and the prices are fair with a nice mix of music playing. I love the real glass coffee/tea cups they use for customers which make me feel at home! We will definitely return!…I wish that the parking was paved and that there was a easier way to get into the parking lot without making a u turn as well a little bigger for more seating but it is tucked away jewel!!!

As the name suggests it is small plce with very simple menu for an eatery, but nice. Overlooks the lake with excellent peaceful and quiet ambience. More so if you are able to get a table at the window.

I am at the Alcove Coffeehouse today and received great service. There was unfortunately a very rude woman in front of me and the barista working was very patient and professional even when being treated poorly. She did her absolute best to resolve the situation peacefully and took it all in stride. Thank you for great service and coffee and merry Christmas!!

I drove an hour and fifteen minutes to visit this coffee shop after hearing great things about the view and overall vibe, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant.
Upon walking in, I wasn’t greeted. When I reached the register, the employee simply stared at me until I said hello and mentioned that it was my first time there. She ignored my comment entirely. I tried to brush it off since I had driven a long way and didn’t want a rude encounter to ruin my visit. However, things continued to go downhill.
When I asked what food items they offered (since the menu didn’t list them), she handed me a menu with an attitude and a visible look of disgust. If there are cameras in the store, I genuinely hope management reviews the footage because her behavior was unprofessional and unnecessary.
I then asked if the matcha came pre sweetened; she only shook her head without saying a word. When I asked about prices for certain items that weren’t listed, she didn’t seem to know even though the prices were visible on the tablet she was using to take my order.
After paying, I noticed I had been charged extra for oat milk, though the menu only lists an upcharge for almond milk and half and half. I brought this to the owner’s attention and asked for a refund, which she initially refused to provide. It wasn’t until I firmly insisted that she finally agreed to refund my order. She did apologize, and I appreciated that, but the experience as a whole left a very negative impression.
As a restaurant owner myself, I can confidently say that customer service is the foundation of any successful business. The lack of professionalism and courtesy I experienced here was disappointing, and I hope management takes this as constructive feedback to train their staff better. No customer should feel unwelcome especially after traveling such a long distance to support a local business.

I came here for a little pick me up and got a hot white mocha. It was tasty and you could definitely taste the chocolate. This little shop is right on the lake so it has beautiful views. They even have seating outside to view the lake as well as big windows inside with seating. The lady who helped me was friendly and nice and had a smile on her face the whole time. Great experience
