If you’re looking for an elevated brew pub experience you need to give this place a try. The place has a great ambiance and you can tell this is a nicer experience than most breweries. The food menu is relatively small, but the food we tried was all very tasty. And of course the Mad Tree beer was tasty as well. Service was a bit on the slow side, but was friendly and accommodating. They do have a kids menu and our daughters enjoyed their food as well. There is paid parking in a lot just next to the restaurant.

The atmosphere was relaxing & warm – we didn’t have reservations, so we had to sit in the bar area which was very nice. Loved the greenhouse vibe. The food was ok. The risotto needed more seasoning, the fried chicken sandwiches seemed to be extra fried, the bread board was delicious, the tofu was good, as were the carrots in the chicken dish. Drinks were decent, but not super exciting. The bar tender was helpful. With so many dining options in OTR (& Cincy in general), I expected a better culinary experience. It won’t be my first choice to go back to, but I wouldn’t balk at going if others suggested it. Hope this helps!

Very trendy little bar with great beer. We really liked all of the live plants that were everywhere. It gave it a very healthy, earthy vibe. Beer was top notch. Didn’t have one that we didn’t like. The peanut butter porter was my favorite. Didn’t eat but the food looked very fresh and tasty.

This place is so aesthetically pleasing! From the layout to the decorations! The service is amazing and the servers are even better! I can’t wait to come back and try more! They have the best espresso martini flight and the cinnamon roll is AMAZING!

Super cool space in downtown Cincinnati. The Alcove is set in a former German beer hall from the 1800s. Food is fantastic and the Cincy Bloody Mary is one of the best I’ve ever had. We enjoyed the Loaded Potato hash and Quiche brunch dishes. Highly recommend stopping in.

We went to Alcove and really liked it. The atmosphere was great and the service was good. We ordered the Smashburger, fish and chips, and crispy potatoes to start. The potatoes were delicious and cooked perfectly. Everything we had tasted fresh and the espresso martinis were excellent. Definitely a place I would go back to.

I love this place! 100’s ( maybe 1000’s) of real plants adorn the walls and interior providing clean, fresh and lively air & oxygen. We were eating light and they had great options they even tailored some choices for us!

I had been to the alcove in the very beginning for brunch but had not been for dinner. We celebrated my 10 year business anniversary there for dinner on a weekday and it was the perfect spot for something like that. Some of these details are not going to matter for the general public but will for people who photograph everything /influencers, etc.
They were so understanding about me adding people to the reservation up to the last minute, they were more than ok with us photographing during our whole dinner, and set us up in a cute corner room. We asked for the music to be turned down so we could yap easier, once again totally taken care of. I needed cake cutting accessories, totally accommodating for us.
The butter board was amazing and the meals everyone chose were great, zero complaints. As a non-drinker, the mocktails were all tasty, different flavors without being too overly sweet.
The sweetest thing of all was that they generously gifted me my meal for my celebration which was completely unexpected and did not go unnoticed.
Super chill but luxury feeling environment for a weekday celebration. Highly recommend.

This is a great brunch location! We ate in the sunroom which has great atmosphere for a morning event. It be is bright and cheerful. The perfect spot to enjoy brunch. We tried the mimosa flight with 4 different options, I have to say to is a fun way to get some vitamin c in your day. We shared the French toast, which was a little heavy with the cream cheese topping, but totally comes off like a cinnamon roll. I would consider the next time having the cream cheese in the side. It is clever with the cereal topping on it too, and the fruit lightened it up. The pot roast in the potatoes was delicious, the surprise is how well the pickled onions and roasted peppers added brightness to the dish.
