Hands down the best street tacos I’ve eaten in a very, very long time. They have your basic meats to choose from, plus a few authentic options. Beef tongue and beef cheeks are on the menu daily, also lamb…one of my favorites, yet most Americans shy away from it. Alchile also has a fountain of rice water which is a perfect balance between spicy fatty tacos and something cool to refresh the palate. If you are in the neighborhood, and are in the market for some delicious street tacos, you’ll be happy you read this review.

Good food, but pricey for the value. Warning, I love my heat but those Serrano peppers will get ya!

Reviews gave high hopes but i was Very disappointed in the waste of money and time. Rice was salty and choppy (kinda like cauliflower rice), meat in the flautuas (chicken and shredded beef) was severely BLAND. 0 out of 10, would not recommend.

Where do I start?
I called to inquire about different entries and the customer service was outstanding. I decided to try a few items on the menu and EVERYTHING was TOP TIER DELICIOUS! The street corn is a must have and the burritos 10/10 the hot queso and chips just give you the perfect addition to any meal! The staff were very friendly and the owner was so awesome that you get that Family feel when you are here.
Let not forget to mention that everything is fresh and also made fresh when you order without a long wait.

The 101 Special is the best burrito I’ve ever had! And the hot sauce on the table is NOT to be messed with!!

Either a bad night or something has changed- We used to visit here quite frequently until a couple taco trucks/ restaurants opened near us and we’ve been getting our taco/ tostada fix there- But decide to visit Alchile as we recall it always being great and the reviews still looked decent- Quite a drive there but…

Only ones there- Walk in and the guy running the orders doesn’t say hi, hello…flat through whole order- I’m smiling, saying hi…ok, we all are going through things maybe in a mood- Takes order- 10 minutes later go to get food and he’s still flat-

At first glance everything looks so fresh and delicious- Looks are deceiving- I immediately noticed how small my tacos looked compared to what they used to be- I order the same three types- There’s half the amount of meat than usual- Barbocoa was ok flavor – at least it wasn’t dry and crunchy- Chorizo tasted like cat chow mix – ( childhood dare, can’t forget that taste) Dry, crunchy and odd flavor almost a burnt taste- The pastor was the same – dry and salt- I used to get so messy from these tacos because they were moist and filled-

The red salsa that came with the meal was gross- tasted like tomato sauce- No heat- no cilantro…

I ordered a side of refied beans and got a plate of rice and beans

No thank you! At $4 a taco…No way- The overall experience makes it easy to never return- I learned, when working in the food industry, the food can be off, but if the customer has a good interaction with the server, they are more willing to come back again-

My experience with the W. Bloomfield location was HORRIBLE. I ordered the chicken chimichanga through DoorDash. It arrived quick thanks to DoorDash (no problem with them) so there was no reason for the food to be cold upon delivery.

In addition to my food being COLD, it was unseasoned and chicken tasted and smelled like it came out of a can that was not prepared to serve. It didn’t taste like it was boiled or pan fried. There was absolutely NO season on the chicken (no salt, no pepper, no garlic powder, no onion powder, no cumin, no paprika, no chili seasoning, no lime juice, no cilantro, and for sure no taco seasoning) no cheese, and most of all NO FLAVOR.

I called the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction and to request that they prepare my dish again after paying $23 dollars total including my delivery. I asked them to give make it with the ground beef instead of that awful shredded dry chicken.

They still didn’t get the replacement meal correct. There was NO CHEESE on the inside as advertised and if it was I didn’t see it or taste it. Needless to say I had to doctor the meal up. Now the AlChile Novi location is MUCH BETTER , the food at that location tastes great and is seasoned well. Needless to say I am done with the AlChille W. Bloomfield location.

Descent Mexican restaurant, good food served fast food style, descent prices. You pay for the food, collect a token and get called on once the food is ready, you pick your table and drinks and eat. The burritos and tacos are very good. Gets pretty crowded for the small place it is

I never write reviews. I know the business owner personally, and he wouldn’t like his employees dictating his business. I spend money there all the time there was a mistake in My Son‘s Burrito and I explained to the gentleman which are his employees that there was a miscommunication and if you could make him a different one, he said I would have to pay for another one. I told him that I am a regular and I come here all the time he said I don’t care if you want another one pay for another one I know if the owner was there that this kind of stuff wouldn’t happen I told him it would be my last time coming here and he said I don’t care. I own a business and I have employees I’ve taught my employees to always accommodate the customers cause they’re the people that pay our bills and that’s how we live without the customers We don’t have a business. It’s just a shame. I enjoy the food, but I will not go back

I like to try different places when I travel. I was happy that I stopped in here. The pulled pork wet burrito was one of the best I’ve had. The gentleman who took my order was informative when I asked about the dishes. The hot sauces brought to the table were very tasty. I will be back again.

Update: Decided I would go again and have a Botana Nachos. I was again treated to another wonderful dish. The toppings were not just toppings, but were on different layers of the chips. I was just “wow” when Art brought it to the table.
