We are a small ,mostly family ran, business since November 2020 as Alchile Mexican Grill. But our family has been serving our small beautiful town of Ridgeland since 1998! Our food is a fun mix of authentic Mexican food, and Texan / Californian food. If you aren’t hungry, stop by and get a handmade cocktail at our bar, or an ice cold beer(draft or bottle), or try some of our house margaritas or daiquiris for the lowest prices in the low country!

The menu is robust. My wife ordered chicken quesadillas and I ordered a chili relleno and burrito. The food came out quick. The house chips were also out quick.
The food was tasty and I think well priced. The bathroom was clean as well. Outside was the perfect place to sit. It is covered and decorated in a relaxing manner. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and eat here.
I will make a point to stop here again
After a long 10-hour drive, we were looking forward to authentic Mexican cuisine based on the promising photos and reviews online. Unfortunately, our Tuesday lunch experience was marred by inattentive service and billing issues.
The restaurant was quiet with only four tables occupied, and we were seated promptly. However, problems began immediately with our drink order. I ordered a small margarita, but my fiancé upgraded it to a large before the server left. When our drinks arrived, my fiancé also requested a Dos Equis.
The food itself was good—we ordered à la carte—but getting basic accompaniments proved unnecessarily difficult. We requested hot sauce and water refills, but our server never returned. A food runner eventually brought our meals, and we had to ask her for the items our server had forgotten.
The most frustrating part came at checkout. After we had to flag down our server for the bill and paid, he returned claiming he’d forgotten to charge us for a small margarita. My fiancé explained we had only ordered the large, not both sizes, but the server refused to acknowledge the miscommunication.
While the food met expectations, the inattentive service and unwillingness to correct a billing error left a sour impression. There are too many restaurants with both great food AND great service to settle for just one.
