The server was fantastic and the food was amazing. I had the pork shoulder special, it wasn’t that special. Everyone else loved their meals. If we are to return I’d like to try other things than the specials.

Great family run Italian restaurant. My family has been frequenting this restaurant for several years now. The food is always excellent. The atmosphere is excellent. The location is fantastic. Great view of the village piazza throughout the year, especially Christmas with the lit tree and decorations. An all around Great restaurant. Note, it can be crowded at times, so it’s best to call in a reservation on Fridays and weekend evenings.

I enjoyed al fresco dining facing a small piazza, watching people stroll by and a band setting up for an outdoor concert in the park.
The pizza was tasty, had great flavors and dough. The staff was very pleasant, present, and friendly.
On my next visit, I had the bone-in beaded pork chop and it was the size of a catcher’s mitt. Plus a side of spaghetti. Delicious. The spaghetti was home made.

was my first visit, and the Lasagna with meat was amazing. The sauce is a traditional Italian sauce. Everything was good, meat and size. I usually drink ginger ale, and the lady barista / bartender is kindness. She always asked if I want more or not. The music complements the ambience. The restrooms are new and clean. Perfect for a good time. The parking lot is front the building. It’s better reserve or stay there early 5pm is you want to dinner. They have traditional bread, the lady ask you for the bread. She always has a particular menu, and she explains everything for you.

Oh my goodness! Where do I begin?
First off, Mariyana, who is in charge of the private events, is amazing!
She was on top of things calling and emailing with final guest counts, food decisions, choices, any allergies, or special foods to be prepared. Mariyana WAS AMAZING!
She allowed some family members to come in early to set up my wedding reception.
Not only was she the coordinator, but she was our bar staff. I do not know if there was a steady line of drinks being poured, but she was a pro! If there was something that she had been asked for that she did not have, she ran downstairs to grab it (coffee, glasses, etc)
Super professional and so much fun. She was on top of the food when to serve or bring out extra appetizers. Super organized.
Look, I didn’t have to hunt her down asking for ANYTHING. She was just awesome.
The food – everyone LOVED the pizzas to start off with delicious!
We chose a buffet style as we wanted people to mingle and walk around talking to everyone. The food in the buffet was perfect. The homemade ravioli was the favorite, and the beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked. The whole roasted chicken was very delicious.
Overall, the friends and family and I had a wonder, beautiful time!

Sad they are closing, been there numerous times. They had the best margherita pizza ever. The basil sauce and char crust from woodfired pizza oven made it. The issue is the location is hidden in downtown Bloomingdale, other restaurants have been in the same spot and have not made it, lack of visibility plays a big part.

I recently dined at Alcentro Trattoria in Bloomingdale, and I must say, the linguine barcaiolo was exceptional! The dish was perfectly cooked, with a rich and flavorful sauce that truly showcased the best of Italian cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both special occasions and casual dinners. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend trying the linguine barcaiolo—you won’t be disappointed!

Over all I can say I liked their food, sauce and presentation. Quantity was large and I personally prefer eating small but then that’s just a preference but definitely delicious food. It’s in Great location. It’s a cozy. There are few breweries around this restaurant which makes it better otherwise they serve alcohol too. One of the best thing about this restaurant and of-course all other around in this area is they have this lit up trees at night and it’s so welcoming. These guys also have sit out area I wish it was summer. Service is great. I mean the waitress was nice Italian accent. I may be wrong but I thought food took longer than I would have expected more so because it wasn’t crowded when I was there. There isn’t enough parking right outside the restaurant but there is enough around. I don’t thing anyone will ever drive away because of lack of parking.

Food was tasty, service was quick, and the atmosphere was a mix between modern and rustic. I liked that it had a fireplace in the center, outdoor seating for nicer weather, and seemed super clean! I would recommend as a place for a quick bite with friends and family for lunch or dinner. I had the minestrone soup and bruschetta – both were fantastic.
