Feb. 2025 Food was good. I miss the pre COVID menu but it’s still good. It was extremely loud with a party in the back dining room and very busy for the servers. We’ll come back again when it’s not so crazy to try more items on the menu. My husband loved his burger and sweet potato tots. Cheesesteak flatbread was ok.
3-5-25 oh my gosh. It was so much better tonight. Quieter. Menu has changed for the better! And all our food was excellent. My 9 yr old grandson now loves salmon along with me and he loved the French fries and broccoli and wished he had gotten a salad too, the teenager loves meatloaf and you made it perfect. It was 2 big slices and really good. He loved the broccoli and rice too. I love chicken pot pie and was so glad I tried it. It was the best. I should have only eaten half of it but I nailed it all. I’ll probably order the meatloaf and salmon dinners when we stop again for dinner. My husband said the chicken Marsala was really good and his salad looked good enough for me to try sometime. Lydia did a great job serving us. We’ll be back. Thank you.

Even the freaking napkin was amazing…seriously, it was thick and soft and the best napkin I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The wings were sooo good. The sauce is homemade and a flavor that is different than your normal hot Wing. I got the chicken cheese steak and had them add buffalo sauce on it. YUM! I gobbles the entire thing down. And it was a good size. I substituted the fries for a side salad. It was a really nice salad. My Husband had a cheese steak and really enjoyed it. He was really suprised at the size of it. Also worth noting, the ranch and blue cheese were really really good. Our waitress, Mercedes was amazing. The hostess was amazing and on our way out, there were toothpicks and mints. We came because of the local flavor deal. We will be back for sure!!! Yes I included a pic of the napkin because it was that good!!!

Good food from wide selection of options. Well prepared. Nice people. Clean and friendly. Comfortable atmosphere. Was a bit disappointed in the lack of IPAs on tap. It’s October though, so the obligatory spiced beers take precedent. The beer menu showed Bells Two Hearted IPA and others on tap but they were not on this day. Ended up getting bottled. Between tap and bottles, a nice selection.

The attention to detail here is meticulous, the customer service phenomenal, the bar is really well preserved, the inside temperature nice & cool (on a summer day)! It’s an admirable historic building with live music & specials on certain nights (*see pictures*)! Blow off some steam at The Alburtis Tavern!

Bartender was very friendly, service was quick as I was the only one of 4 customers having food ,beer was cold but the burger was mediocre at best; dry and not much to it for the $ Does that look like a $13 cheeseburger with everything on it to you? ,fries were good although I had to get my own ketchup and the A/C was comfortable, maybe other dishes stand out This definitely DID NOT

Are used to go to the Alburtis tavern for years prior to it closing down to the pandemic. Stopped in tonight since I heard they had new management and we’re open again so I won’t be too overly critical because I know there is a learning curve with all new employees, but I’ll be coming back here more often. Anyway, I stopped in today said at the bar the place was absolutely packed which was good to see. I just ordered a sandwich called the Cuban and the Coca-Cola. The food came out about 30 minutes later, but like I mentioned, the place is very crowded so take that into consideration and new employees. The Cuban sandwich is supposed to have ham and pork on it, it was served on a ciabatta roll, but did not have any pork. Either way the atmosphere was really awesome. It was nice to sit at the bar and talk to some of the local town folk who are used to also come here. In my opinion, if you were looking for a place to go eat, I would definitely check this place out because in the next coming weeks as they get into the groove, I’m sure they are going to be just as amazing if not better than what they were before. One of the cool features that they have is if you’re sitting at the bar all the barstools have a railroad name on them and every time a train goes by they spend this big roulette type of wheel, and if it lands on your seat name you get a free beer

The reopening under new ownership after covid here in Alburtis was a welcome sight. The menu has less options, but this is still a good place to come for a bite to eat and cold drinks, with all the atmosphere it had since the original owners. Had to edit my review since our recent visit June 8th. Excellent! Great place for decent food, friendly service, cold drinks and a relaxed small town environment!

My understanding is the tavern just reopened within the past month or so. We went around 4:20 thinking it wouldn’t be busy yet, but it was just ramping up and we waited about 5-10 min, at most. Our server was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere there is great. Nice environment, the dining area is full of train memorabilia which is cool to look at. The food selection was basic, but this is understandable as they are just getting started. Perhaps they will add to the menu as time goes by. I ordered a burger cooked medium. It was cooked well, but still tasty with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. My husband had wings and the chili. I will say the serving size for the chili was not impressive for $6, especially if you paid for it to be supreme ($10, add cheese, sour cream, jalapeños and chips). The chili was mistakenly upgraded to supreme but my husband didn’t get the chips that it should have come with it. The chili was not his favorite. It had a barbecue undertone which is not to nis liking. My daughter had a pasta dish. Cajun pasta. It was pretty good, lots of flavor. Only complaint would be that the sausage tasted more kielbasa. Over all the food was hot and good for the most part.

Pizza was definitely premade. Must have came from the supermarket. 12 piece wings are actually 6 piece choppe in half. They forgot my blue cheese and the price was wayyyyyy too much for the tiny bit we got. I will never go there again. This cost $32. Definitely stole my money on this one.
