All of the food choices inside appeared stale like they had been made possibly days before. I went against my better judgment and ordered a slice anyway. I also got some garlic knots and they were decent, more like pieces of bread with garlic on them not knots but decent nonetheless.
The pizza was as I expected based on its looks, old and not something I would eat past my second bite.
The people were polite and friendly
The music was extremely loud for a pizza place though, I immediately decided to take my food to go as I couldn’t hear the person I was eating with talking without leaning in.

Overall I wouldn’t return but I hope they get it sorted, they seemed very nice and genuine.

Ordered meal deal on uber eats. Square pie was stale and different shaped slices, clearly left overs through the day. Knots were oddly shaped, broccoli rolls had gone bad and smelled. Also a pepperoni roll was in bag when we strictly wrote vegetarian order. Only thing good in this order was the 2L Pepsi (can’t mess that up). Extremely low quality and disappointing experience. Does not live up to the Albert’s pizza name.

Ordered a pizza pie, a 2 liter soda and 2 Gatorade bottles. Was charged $37.77, on DoorDash I saw their pizza pies were $22, so that means they charged me $15 for the soda and 2 gatorades? And that’s I guess why he didn’t tell me the price and just gestured for my credit card lol Absolutely ridiculous. Screw this place I’ll never come back here again. Don’t go here or make sure you ask for the price before they charge you! Scummy behavior and the reviews say it all!

Owner makes up prices over the phone. $60 for two plain pizza pies and one 2 liter soda. Not worth it. Doe was floppy, no crunch.

Stopped in for a quick lunch with a colleague. 2 sodas, a panini with fries, a slice of pizza, and a greek salad with shrimp was only $23.20. Tax and credit card fee was another $2.93. Panini, waffle fries, and slice looked good. My salad was the perfect amount, everything fresh, 15 shrimp cooked perfectly with olives, freshly cut peppers and red onions, good feta, and crisp cucumbers and tomatoes. Looked sketchy from the outside, but it’s worth a quick stop. There’s a handful of tables and chairs inside and many pizza varieties on display.

I used to work in Hauppauge and have been a fan of Albert’s Pizza for many years and liked their unique style of pizza. I haven’t been to this particular location in a while. I went there the other day and it was terrible – I recognized something was different immediately. I knew something was up when the pizza looked differently, I didn’t see the familiar black pans they used to use and of course when I saw Mexican food on their menu. I learned that NEW OWNERS bought it some time ago. That answers why the pizza was lousy and no better than any other crappy strip-mall pizza place. Seriously, how can someone claim their pizza is great – just look at the pictures others are posting which is supposed to wow you, but instead it shows how completely unimpressive it is. Horrible pizza.
I should’ve walked out. But they were clever enough to keep the name. To satisfy my suspicions, I went on the other “Albert’s Pizza” websites and saw that the logos I was familiar with are the same for the locations they still own and the Hauppauge location is a generic website with a different, generic logo – which aptly matches their generic pizza. Never again.
Just look at the names of the reviewers leaving great reviews…that will tell you a lot. Terrible pizza. And they had to add tacos and tortas on the menu….what does that tell you?

Found this gem after a long night out. They’re open til 3am, they take cash, card, and other forms of e-payment, AND their pizza is great. Chatted with Hector a little while my pizza heated up, and he was just so sweet. He mentioned that he would make me a whole pizza, since there weren’t many slices left, but I just got one of the last slices instead. Good to know you can get a whole pizza this late though. I highly recommend this spot for all your late night pizza needs.
