This place deserves zero stars! Wait time was nearly 30 minutes before our server showed interest in taking our order. Said it was busy, although there were only two other families in the entire establishment. Took three servers to understand what we were ordering directly off their menu. Brought us the wrong food twice. When the right food finally came, not only was it cold, It was disgusting! Charged us almost double for everything. Completely disgusted by the experience! If you can avoid this place, which you can, trust me save your time and money! Go get some actual authentic Mexican food with a smile, somewhere else!

This place was amazing! We stopped by for lunch right before our snorkeling adventure, and the food was incredible. I got the catch of the day: lobster and red snapper, and the mango margarita. It was so delicious and fresh. You even get to choose the fish and lobster tail before they cook it, so you know exactly what you’re getting. The dj and host were fun and interactive, and the music was bumping~ all in all, great place to get food!

Food was good, saw a bunch of street breakdancers perform. Ceviche was good as was the guacamole and chips. However, they completely overcharged us by double and claimed it was just in pesos and it was $64 when they charged the card $131. They’re taking advantage of cruise ship tourists and I would strongly suggest that if you eat here, pay cash and use a currency translator on your phone before paying the bill. Dishonest and unethical business. Nowhere else were we treated like this by a local business in Mexico. We’ll be contesting this on our credit card.

First off we were charged a $16 surcharge fee to use our credit card there. Secondly we’ve had better food in the United States that tasted authentic. The chicken was undercooked, the shrimp was good, the steak was alright, and we learned that they reuse the soda bottles they give you to drink out of. When we went to take our glass Sprite bottles that we purchased from them one guy said that the bottle couldn’t go we had to leave them. If I paid for the soda I should be able to keep the bottle.

If you like shredded cheese on your nachos this is the place for you. Make sure that you have patience because it takes forever for you to get your food. If you see the dude from the picture as the waiter just walk away. He was offended by the tip that was offered to him. Umm sir it took you forever to bring us our food and you acted like you didn’t want to be at work. The dj was great along with the dancers. I am sorry that the tip that was offered to you was not to your standards.

Total tourist trap. The place is ALWAYS empty (literally, I’ve never seen a SINGLE customer) and they still play their horrible music extremely loud. They also overcharge tourists. Please avoid this place and go to another local restaurant (nearby there are many).
Piège à touristes mais grave! Le resto est TOUJOURS vide (j’ai littéralement jamais vu une seule personne) et quand même ils mettent leur musique d’horreur extrêmement forte. Ils surfacturent les touristes aussi. À éviter complètement, vaut mieux aller aux autres restos locaux à côté 🙂
UPDATE/RESPONSE: there are no more details to give. There are MANY reviews saying they were overcharged. I also stayed at a hotel nearby and the music from Alberto’s was UNBEARABLE even from my room. Not a single customer there the whole week I stayed. If you want to do something to compensate turn down your music, seriously, it’s ruining the hotels and other bars around you.

Amazing place and an AMAZING chimichanga. 10000000% recommend. Just make sure to be near a bathroom within 2 hours of your experience. Overall though BEST chimichanga I’ve ever had!!!!!

This is, by far, the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. The wait time was incredibly long, and the customer service was horrible. The food was tasteless and disgusting, and the portions were small. I’m so disgusted with the team and the restaurant. Please save your time and money and avoid this place. Disgusted
