The cashier had a very poor attitude from the get go, and as I was waiting for my food I overheard another customer complaining about her food being cold, I then received mine and also noticed the beans and rice were cold to the touch. As I stated this to the cashier the cook came from the back literally yelling at the lady who had complained about her food and saying it wasn’t cold, he then took my food and brought it back 3 minutes later, to my surprise I could tell all the cook had done was put the styrofoam container on the microwave, with my guacamole and tomato sauce in it, as you can obviously see on the picture this was evident because the container had lost it’s shape and melted in some areas, I then proceeded to ask the cashier if I could please have my money back, but she refused and told me if was their policy not to refund any money and she gave me the owner’s business card, she said: “This is not my store, it’s not my fuc#ing problem, if you want your money call him”…I then called the owner and explained to him our situation(mine and the other 2 ladies whom I had never met). The owner repeated the same statement as his cashier, but said he would call her. The cashier and the cook then went to the back and I could overhear them insulting me and the other customers, I then noticed that the same owner owns the store right next to it, so I figured maybe he was there; before I walked to the other store I sent the owner pictures of the condition of our food and explained to him that the fact they heated my food on the microwave in the styrofoam container it was probably a health code violation, not just obviously bad for the taste of my guacamole and other fresh vegetables.
After I went and asked for the owner at the other store, he had the cashier from the other store come back and reimburse us the money.
To the owner’s credit, he called me later to apologize and he promised he would work on training his staff better, however as for me I would never go back to a place that treats their customers the way they treated us.
