Pardon my language, but this place absolutely SUCKS! I have been to different Alberto’s and this location is not doing the name any justice. I ordered a shrimp taco priced for $5.50 which I thought was steep but I’ve eaten at other Albertos and typically there tacos are a healthy size. When I got my food was very disappointed. It had the smallest 4 shrimp, drowned in some red sauce and cheese. I went back and asked for my money back immediately but the Manager said that he would not give my money back because I received what I ordered. Such a scam. Do yourself a favor drive another exit down and get your self some Señor Baja or Pepe’s. The food is better and the customer service is always great.

My favorite mexican food joint in the IE was closed. So I came here because of the suggestion of a fan… bruh I wanted to like it because everyone kept telling me about the lore of albertos, and I was super hyped. But the food was garbage and not worth the $50 price tag. I got the super burrito and the super fries with steak. The steak was straight up rubber and fat chunks. The super burrito was just plain chicken, when the lady told me it had beans, sour cream and quacamole in it, but it was plain chicken. The first bad sign honestly was when I got the food, and the smell. It smelled like a dead fetal pig i disected in my biology class. Back to the fries, the cheese wasn’t melted, the meat quality was poor. I honestly do not understand the hype of Albertos. Sorry fam. Albertos ain’t it. Really disappointed b/c the person who reccomended it reccomended great spots in the past. This one did not make the cut. For the first time in the history of burrito reviews, on the scale of orgasmic, it’s a 0/10. I would not get this again.

Our experience was absolutely amazing tonight we were craving Albertos tonight and we drove down here mind u we have had bad experiences recently at the Albertos we use to live by but we came in and asked the lady working the counter if she had a certain size container we wanted of rice and she did she was super nice patient and got our order perfect I highly recommend going here

Ordered carne asada nachos and a carne asada burrito, no pico because they usually flood the burrito with onion. Both meals had vastly different meat in them. The burrito was almost like ground beef. It also had a ton of pico in it despite the writing on the wrapper and had no guacamole. Not to mention it was dripping wet, so much so it ripped the paper and got stuck to itself. Disgusting and basically inedible. The nachos were fire. Good meat and guacamole and cheese. The botched burrito and ghetto gas station atmosphere though, mixed with the 30$ cost, yeah nah. Can’t recommend this place at all.

Ordered the Asada fries, I could have gotten better quality food at 7-Eleven, got food poisoning very soon after and spent hours at night with horrible stomach cramps. Upon calling the restaurant back, the manager tells me that there is nothing she can do. Not even a refund for the horrible experience. I pull up at 12:47 and the guy asks what I want. I say “Carnita super fries no sour cream.” He says anything else? I say no and upon recieving my order I get asada instead of carnitas. So I pull back around and tell him I’ll gladly give the food back if he remakes it. The guy says he read my order back to me when he didn’t. He was just lazy and didn’t want to remake the fries because of HIS MISTAKE! Terrible service!

Make sure to visit this spot in the weekends. To my surprise they sell menudo there!! The menudo there is so good! This was probably the best menudo I have found in this area.
The cashier that was there was super nice and friendly ♀️ he was so helpful! Will definitely be going back this weekend.

The food always taste good. I’ve had 3 grilled chicken burritos here before. Each one had huge chunks of gristle, or fat. Rock hard pieces that can break a tooth. They need better quality control. And the cook should see this when he is grilling it.

I hadn’t had Mexican food in nearly six months, and thus I was very eager to have some. I met a friend here for lunch, and the food was tasty and low priced! We both ordered the “Carne Asada” plate, pictured below. The flour tortillas were among the best I’ve ever had, as were the refried beans. If you’re in a hurry, and want some authentic Mexican food, I’d suggest giving Alberto’s a try.
