Albert G’s downtown is our favorite Tulsa barbecue spot. We go at least once a month and really enjoy their wings, ribs, and (on Fridays only) catfish. They also have a great happy hour, and the servers are almost always friendly. *BUT* for literally the last 9 times we’ve gone, the happy hour pricing was not only left off our bill, but we’ve had to send it back at least twice for extra adjustments. Not sure what the problem is, but if you go for happy hour, be sure to double check your bill and be ready to argue if they don’t fix it properly the first time.

By the way, there’s a great server there (not sure of her name, but she’s on the mature side, like me) who knows her stuff and deserves 5 stars.

I can’t believe I ate the whole thing! But, if you want to fully experience all of their meats, the Fat Albert G sandwich is the way to go. Chopped brisket, pulled pork, smoked turkey and sliced bologna topped with a hot link. Delicious!!!

I had an amazing experience at Albert G’s Bar-B-Q! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and laid-back — exactly what you want from a great BBQ spot.
A huge shoutout to Taylor behind the bar. The service was top-tier from start to finish. Taylor was friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks were always full without being overbearing. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great time, and that kind of service really elevates the whole experience.
And let’s talk about the ribs… they absolutely slapped.

Albert G’s has some of the best BBQ in the city! In the heart of Tulsa, OK, Albert G’s is a big space with tables, Booths and a bar with high ceilings but a bit dark. The service is great as the Hostess, greet and sit you with a smile. The servers are very knowledgeable and check with you often but not enough to be intrusive.

The highlight is of course the food where the dry rub ribs are the highlight. The ribs are tasty, tender and practically fall off the bone. In addition, the Beef brisket is as tender and can be cut solely with a fork. The potato salad has a firm texture with a bit of sweet tang.

A must eat restaurant while visiting Tulsa or residing there. Great service, exceptional food and very reasonable prices! Well done Albert G’s!

Good OK style bbq. Pulled pork was moist. Brisket was cooked well. Ribs delicious. Cool pickle bar area. Large seating. Great staff.

I came in on 2/16 and my bartender Taylor was very helpful and informative on beers! I came in not sure what I was wanting to drink, I gave her some examples of what I liked and she was able to direct me to exactly the flavor I was looking for! She even was busy up until the last minute, and managed to keep customers happy and vibes flowing. 10/10 would DEFINITELY come here again, I recommend Taylor to anyone who’s looking for excellent service!

There was no crowd on Monday at 2 pm. There is plenty of seating. I did a walk in to-go order. I went to the restroom and when I came out, my food was ready! The BBQ here is very good! I got chopped brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, and baked beans. Delicious!

The food tastes as sad as it looks. Brisket was old and dry, probably microwaved. Potato salad was weirdly sweet; not a good flavor. Fried okra was fine, mac and cheese was boring at best.

Not the worst BBQ I’ve had, but it’s in the bottom 10%.

Try the Tulsa Ribs, they were excellent.
Sadly, the greatness ends at the Tulsa Ribs. I so wanted to really like this place. The sliced brisket had a good flavor, but was very dry. The okra was as bland as could be. The house made chips were boring. The baked beans had a good flavor but were under cooked.

The waitress took our order and never asked again if we would like to order more drinks. After trying the brisket, I really needed more to drink. Shortly after our food arrived at the table, the waitress brought the check. I guess that was a sign to get out. The restaurant was not busy. When we arrived there was one other table in use. When we left, there were four tables in use.
