We walked in and there were 7 tables that had not been cleaned or picked up. I wish I had taken pictures. There were three tables with customers including ourselves. This makes me wonder why the 7 tables had not been cleaned. The food could’ve been better, if they didn’t have the ac blowing too high making our food get cold.

Didn’t get a chance to try the food. Walked in, didn’t know if I had to seat myself or wait for someone. The only gesture I got, was a young server pointing at a table I could sit in. Then when I say I realized I was sitting by the restroom. There were 2 empty, dirty tables available and I asked if I could sit there. They, very politely, said yes & asked the same young server to clean the table, twice. By the time the kid got to cleaning the table, we’d been there for 15 minutes. Needless to say, we left, and will never go back.

Once we sat down it took a server a while before they even attended us. Took us 30 minutes to get a second cup of coffee. When we tried to get the attention of servers they were talking among themselves. Had to stop eating and wait on water by then the food was not hot. Service needs to be more for the customer.

Grew up eating here. The food is just as good as i remember growing up, the servers always have a great attitude. Great place to go to eat.

They serve menudo everyday… so if you have that craving on a Tuesday or on a Sunday Alba’s has you covered… service was slow but honestly, it was worth the wait… I honestly have not tried anything else on the menu, I go for the menudo… but I am sure one day I will try something else… but for now I am content with my choice… restrooms are clean, and I do judge a restraunt by the cleanliness of the restroom… because If they can’t maintain a clean restroom, imagine how the kitchen is…

Lots of choices in Mexican food in El Paso and this is definitely not the best. The service was not the best either, our orders were wrong and she ignored us after bringing our food.

Went there Wednesday Jan. 4 at 2pm with my wife, daughter and granddaughter. Every single table dirty with used plates still on the table from previous customers. I saw 2 waitresses working with no one making attempt to clean up. We had to sit in a dirty table. Waitress took a few drinks to the people next to us but she never acknowledged us. Waited approx 10-15 min with no one even saying “be with you shortly”. We decided to leave. As we left, another elderly couple told us that the Waitress had been rude and not attentive. There were a total of 3 tables with customers at this time. No more rush or enough tables to keep them busy. I would not recommend this place at all. Very unpleasant experience. I wasn’t comfortable and atmosphere was tense. Uneasy feeling from the moment we sat down. Hope owner sees this and does something about the waitresses.
