Our first time here was for a beautifully crafted cocktail pairing dinner, including a guest speaker. The aurora inspired food and drinks were incredible, as was the service and atmosphere. We are looking forward to more meals and social events here

We love Alaskana. Their food is constantly evolving and so creative. The staff is incredible and makes you feel welcome and at home. This is a great place for a girls night out or for a date with your person. The “share” plates are legit sized and you definitely get what you pay for. Looking for specialty drinks? They have an incredible in house mixologist, and you can also ask for the drinks to be made NA. Try a dilly dally. It’s my fav!

Our family gathered for a dinner on January 25 to honor my mother-in-law, and Alaskana Social Club was incredibly accommodating throughout the evening. Ten of us attended, and after hearing how generous the portions were, we decided to share a steak, three orders of their fried chicken, and three of us had cheeseburgers. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. What stood out most was how heartfelt and compassionate the staff were when we shared the reason for our visit. To top it off, the whiskey selection was delicious. It was a meaningful and comforting experience for our whole family.

Found this place purely by happenstance looking for a new restaurant to check out and was far from disappointed! It’s tucked back away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to be convenient. With Settler’s Bay currently closed, we have been dining at Chop House often but haven’t been very impressed with a lot of the other choices available in Wasilla. When I saw that there was a newer place that’s been open for only about nine months, I was excited to branch out and am very glad I did.

Alaskana Social Club was small and cozy, with an intimacy you don’t get at larger venues. At 6:15 on a Saturday night, we were one of only two couples there and I can tell you, I was wondering why this place wasn’t packed not long after I sat down.

The service was stellar and my husband and I enjoyed the food very much. The cocktail I tried was delicious and, as I don’t drink often, I was very glad that this artistically crafted drink lived up to the hype. We got a lot of the small plates to share including the Cider Pork Belly Skewers, Gazpacho, Home Made Chips, Halibut Cakes with Yogurt Sauce, and the Kale Caesar Salad. The pairings were clever, unique, and tasty. Everything is handcrafted and made in house. The food was very fresh with a lot of local sourcing and it was obvious the pride that was taken in preparing the individual dishes. If you enjoy the experience of trying something new, you should check out this place and give it a try. We will be back very soon.

The food was amazing! Every morsel was tasty and prepared with love and the finest attention to detail. My tastebuds were dancing with delight. Loved the creative selections. The ambiance was very quaint. It was well worth the drive from Anchorage. The rain didn’t spoil it one bit. I am already planning a return trip.

We had a large family group eat here for dinner. We had a reservation and were seated right away. We all sat at one long table. The service was top notch! The drinks & food arrived quickly. Those who ordered alcoholic drinks had their questions answered about what was available and what the drink was like, etc. The food was delicious and the portions are perfect for sharing with a group. The atmosphere was lovely, quiet, and with a view of the lake. I highly recommend and will be back!

Their food and drinks are always so delicious. I especially love the desserts and the fun ways Chef puts flavors and ingredients together service is on point even when they are busy, and the owners go out of their way to check in at my table to chat for a moment. I recommend ASC to anyone who wants to enjoy a great space with gorgeous views and yummy food!

Beautiful restaurant more rustic and “granola”, but the food fell flat. The salmon dip was more soup than anything else and the bread was burnt 2/5. We tried the chips as well but had to send them back because those were burnt as well. The chef definitely cooks the food extra “crispy”. I love homemade fries but once again they were burnt. Their take on the veggie burger was nice and it wasn’t bad but there was no seasoning or sauce and it fell apart immediately. I was considering coming back until we had dessert, which was DISGUSTING. Ruined the whole experience for me. There is only 1 server and she was really sweet but everything is slow. I did really love the drinks the bartender made but also takes a long time to get those drinks. The workers have amazing customer service, but the food isn’t worth the drive and the price (unless you enjoy everything burnt). Side note:the sky is beautiful out there due to the lack of light pollution and open area,I saw the northern lights.

Great restaurant tucked away near the base of Hatcher Pass at Meier Lake. This was our third visit but first time under the new rebranding.

We tried all 6 house cocktails. Arkose, Fairangel, and Devil’s Club were the fan favorites. Dilly Dally with the snap pea flavor was a pleasant surprise. The Monolith was too gin-y and the Skyscraper was too whiskey-y. The bartender, who wet met on our last visits, was amazing at his craft.

We tried everything on the menu except for snack mix and olives because we ran out of room. The salmon dip needed more smokiness, otherwise all was good. Fan favorites were the pickled veggies (giardiniera) and Arancini.

Overall a great dinner spot to hit up for weekend evening from Anchorage or after a visit to Matanuska Glacier or Hatcher Pass. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Great staff and owners.

Highly recommend. It’s definitely a hidden gem with delicious food.

What a great experience at Alaskana Social Club. The Atmosphere is cozy yet elevated. But talking about elevated the bar is the star of the show. It’s great for a romantic dinner or with a group of friends. What truly sets them apart is the unique cocktail selection and shared small plates. And all of this with and a beautiful lake front setting and a stunning Mountain View. I recommend the Brussel Sprouts and the Arkose. Hidden gem that I plan to revisit often! Oh and we cant forget the service. They were all very attentive and making sure everything was
