I had high expectations being in the salmon capital of Alaska but… I ordered salmon and coleslaw, neither had much flavor my husband had a plate of fried platter and it was delicious. I wish I had gotten what he got. Service was good.

This is great.. We were well looked after.. tried the Captains Plate, which was Crab, coconut shrimp, Halibut, crab wontons. Great value, the beer sampler was definitely worth a try. I think I loved the Amber. Our server, Gabe, was terrific, and really attentive. Food quick and good portions.

We came here at the recommendation of our local tour guide. Arrived around 11am, and this place is already packed.
Ordered halibut fish and chips, and the king crab combo. All seafood tastes fresh and delicious.

Good atmosphere and wonderful staff. Food was a bit lacking. Chowder was bland, and the Halibut Fish and Chips albeit good, was a bit plane too. It’s a reminder that Cod Fish n Chips is always the way to go.

Ok, it’s a touristy place as it is right on the pier, but it was surprisingly not too busy when we went in around 3.30 pm. We quickly got seated at a table next to the window and the server was very quick to get our drink order. Once our drinks arrived he took our food order which was 2 King Crab legs and 1 King Crab claw. We knew the order was $218 plus a side order of fries and a beer, which came out to $230. Yes, pricey but hey when do you get to eat fresh King Crab?
The food came out quickly and was delicious, the Crab was succulent and juicy and everything was fine.
Then the bill came, and now I’m not one to skimp on tipping, especially if the food and service are good. But to have a “Kitchen Tip” and an “Automatic Service Fee Gratuity” of almost 20% already added, for an automatic tip total of $50 I was shocked. I wonder how many people don’t see that and tip on top…….needless to say my additional tip was “0”. I might have tipped more if I didn’t feel like I was conned.
Good food, good location, good service. Bad tipping policy.

This was an excellent experience for us! The waiters/waitresses were very helpful. We are the crab wantons. It came with a chili sauce to dip them into. 5/5 loved them. Then we got the Colossal king crab1 lb(unfortunately the picture I took didn’t save ). It was so delicious! Met our anticipation.

Most expensive crab and seafood in Alaska. I’d expect for the prices that are charged that the service and food would be exquisite, however average is a much better term to describe it. Restrooms were dismal and dirty as well.
Most appalling is the undisclosed 18% gratuity which is automatically added. The company should invest more in its customer experience and product if it expects to automatically charge such gratuity.

Great first experience with crab at Alaska King Crab Co.! I had the Crab Combination with a king crab leg, Dungeness crab cake, and a cup of clam chowder – a bit pricey but definitely worth it. As someone who loves shrimp and lobster, I can’t believe what I’d been missing. Trying crab for the first time in Alaska while on a cruise was unforgettable! The servers were friendly, and the place was clean, which added to the overall great experience. Highly recommend if you’re in Alaska and want a taste of fresh, delicious crab!

The best crab I’ve ever had! Bite the bullet and go for the colossal king crab leg and two claws. You won’t regret it! We also ordered the Captains Plate which had awesome halibut, crab cakes, crab wonton, and coconut shrimp. Great meal! The food is a bit pricey, but i dont think you’ll find a more fresh and tasty catch anywhere else, so its totally worth it.
