I’m a Juneau local, and makes me sad how bad this place is. We gave it two chances and both were equally disappointing, which we didn’t expect since Alaskan Brewery is our favorite brewery in town for its quality; is also over priced which we expected since is a place for tourists, but honestly we also hoped for better quality in the food. We tried the fish and chips: the halibut was overcooked by a lot! And the chips with no salt at all. The Chowder was lacking taste and the sadder part, lukewarm.
We were also surprised that they didn’t have a better selection of beer on tap, we were hoping for flavors from the ‘pilot series’ or the ‘brew crew’ but no, all what they had is what you also can find in the store.
I guess, this is a place exclusively for tourists, they don’t expect much and even if they think is bad, no harm done, cause they most like weren’t gonna be back anyway.
Since I got asked by tourist and family all the time about recommendations, I really wanted to like this place and recommend it, but I just can’t. Still I will keep saying to visit the tap room by Costco.

Open for a quick beer before 11. Didn’t eat, but this is wonderful beer. We’ve had several brews out and about from this brewery (including on the Norwegian Bliss), but we had a blonde and Kolcsh.
