Dropped by with a colleague and we were seriously impressed! This Yemeni restaurant doesn’t just seem authentic it is the real deal. Everything is homemade fresh in the kitchen daily, and you can absolutely taste it in every bite.
We ordered the lamb, beef, and mixed vegetables, each dish was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The house sauce? Incredible.
The only downside was the washroom, it could definitely be cleaner. But honestly, the food was so good it stole the spotlight. A hidden gem in the community worth checking out if you’re craving something authentic and satisfying!
Oh oh… The house tea is also amazing! Got a cup to go.

The food is authentic and so delicious, the staff is super friendly and nice. I have been missing authentic Arab food and I happened to be in the area. I’m so glad I stopped here for lunch. I’m about a 3hr drive from here and I will definitely be coming back with my whole family. The food wasn’t expensive at all. I ordered a half chicken Mandi to have there and a whole chicken Mandi to take home with me and it was less than $40. It came with rice, salad and soup also. Seriously, don’t sleep on this awesome restaurant!

Best roasted lamb and rice I’ve ever had. Excellent customer service, this family cares about their work. It’s not fancy, it’s real good, like I made at home. I’d love the rice recipe as it’s the best I’ve ever had. Friendly, slow because it’s homemade, and deeply satisfying.

Once I located the correct door (I went upstairs to the apartments first. ), I walked into a warm, cozy place. Booths on both sides. The man working was taking an order on the phone so I grabbed a menu & an empty booth.
Service professional if not actually friendly. No glass of water or utensils on the table or brought after I sat.
Many of the entrees sounded enticing but I stayed closer to my usual. I ordered the Lamb Sandwich & the Arabic Salad, with which I did get a fork.
Salad was good, a standard lettuce, tomato & onion with a seasoned oil & vinegar dressing. The Lamb sandwich is similar, but distinct from, a shawarma. Tender, slow-cooked lamb, lettuce & tomato with a mild sauce.
I don’t get the thin plastic covering on the tables but it’s not the first time I’ve seen it.
The restroom area, and restrooms themselves, could use some attention.

I’m so glad this place is open again — now 7 days a week from 8:30am to 9:00pm! The new owners have really turned things around. You can tell they brought in new chefs and staff because everything feels fresh, friendly, and way more organized. The food is absolutely delicious, and the new prices are even better than before. It’s quickly becoming my go-to spot for Yemeni food.

First time ever having yemeni food and went in open to try anything. Young gentlemen at the front was quick to be extremely courteous and inviting and made an immediate recommendation for my first time. I grabbed the chicken mandi, some hummus and bread, and some Red Tea.
Some of the best hummus I’ve ever had, and the bread makes it even 10x better. If you come here you absolutely have to get the bread.
The mandi was fantastic just look for yourself.
I’ll be back for sure because their red Tea is my new favorite cold weather drink!
