Excellent atmosphere, the restaurant was very clean, and our server was fantastic! I had a peaches and cream margarita which was absolutely delicious. The nachos with brisket were amazing. The chips stayed crisp, no soggy ones as we worked our way through. We will be regulars here!

This place is Average in BBQ terms yet above average in Atmosphere. You won’t get bad BBQ here but you won’t get great BBQ here. Yet you will pay the pricetag for “Great BBQ”.
It’s more often than not, overcooked, and the brisket has always been dryish when I have ordered.
Its a BBQ joint that hasn’t quite figured it out all the way but it’s been here quite some time. You’ll enjoy the food, but the BBQ isn’t something that is going to blow you away. That comes down do how the meat is handled.
The recipe is there because the taste is there, but the folks in charge of the meats need a lesson in how to produce moist BBQ everytime. Not half the time, not just during key hours, but every time. That’s the kicker, you won’t know what your gonna get until you get it. And don’t order towards the end of the night, it shouldn’t be that way though. Meat can stay juicy thoughout the evening if you regulate the distance to flame via the temperature of cooked meats. If you don’t, you’ll get dry or more dry meat when it doesn’t have to be that way. BBQ joint 101.
The entertainment and live music is above average. They have some great Acoustic musical acts that come through and they support local musicians. The atmosphere and service is 5 star.

Went there based on friends recommendation. Early evening, not much of crowd. Loved the rustic atmosphere. Sat at the bar, bartender barely noticed us, busy with the regulars. One of the waiters gave us the rundown about the club membership they have running. Wasn’t impressed by the food nor the beer on the tap. Usual local crowd that formed shortly after 8:30pm seemed to have fun on Friday night. While we live near by did not feel very welcoming, but we were just checking this place out. Did not plan to sign for the club nor we plan on going back any time soon. Been to a better cowboy bars.

Atmosphere took a hit due to the close proximity to a live singer who was WAY too loud. Does not reflect poorly on my opinion of Alamo. Will definitely return, but maybe be that person who asks for a different seat. Lol

I heard that the Alamo was in new hands. I hadn’t been there in 20 years because it didn’t have good food. I gave it another try and was glad I did. They have a great variety of delicious barbecue sauces to choose from. I had a black bean burger that was fabulous ! By far, the best I ever had ! It had a char on it that would convince any carnivore it was Angus beef ! It’s so wonderful with the red onions and a generous helping of perfectly ripe avocado slices….
Despite the freezing temperature, it was warm and cozy inside. The place is clean and friendly. Thanks for turning the place around ❤️. We’ll be back soon and often.

We absolutely love the food and the overall vibe at The Alamo, but we’ve learned that the experience really depends on who is working the bar.
If you want top-tier service and consistent drinks, go when Cam or Casey are on. They are professional, attentive, and make sure everyone is taken care of regardless of how busy it is. They really elevate the experience.
However, we’ve consistently had a different experience with Kayla. It seems like the regulars get all the attention and heavy pours ,no jigger used, while everyone else is left waiting. It’s a bit frustrating to feel ignored unless you’re part of the inner circle.
Bottom line, The kitchen is fantastic and the drinks are high-quality, but for the best hospitality, try to catch a shift with Cam or Casey!

Wow!!! The smell in this restaurant is enough to make your mouth water if you’re a smoked barbecue fan!! They have a great bar area and outdoor seating area. The restaurant has high tables near the bar and regular seating area on the other side. The staff was very friendly and welcoming . We had the pulled pork, brisket, and baby back ribs . Everyone was extremely happy with the food it was awesome!! The jalapeño corn bread was delicious! Overall, everything we had was yummy!!! They do serve drinks and beer. Wide selection of tequilas

Food is very good. A bit on the expensive side but worth it. Large and diverse menu incase someone doesnt want BBQ. Great drink selections. Atmosphere is nice and inside is very “texas-y”. Service was a bit slow. The hostess made us wait in the lobby for 10 min to “give her servers time to catch up” even though there were lots of clean and set tables available. Like… why not just let us sit down and let us wait if the server is backed up? Instead us making us stand up and loitering in the lobby area. Anyways… would recommend still maybe dont go during busy times. We went at 1:30 in the afternoon and still had a wait.
