The staff are great, amazing service despite being quite busy when we visited. When our waiter noticed we were enjoying the house salsa he offered to bring us some salsa verde to try that was very tasty as well. The ultimate burrito was a highlight and the carnitas were very good too. The carne asada and al pastor were a bit bland and the rice had a bit of a weird taste, but I’d definitely come back.

Absolutely love the place! If the nice staff doesn’t keep the Alamo open visiting paramotor pilots will have to drive 40 minutes for a good meal. The food taste superb! Please tip heavily, we already lost the Johnson Landing Diner.

I always get the same plate there. But they are family operated. All very pleasant and I never have to wait longer than 10mins for my meal.

I am an adventurous eater. I don’t mean like eating puffer fish in Japan (though I’d probably do that too). I mean I’m willing to eat places that other people might be nervous about visiting. This qualifies. Why? Because it is in the middle of what looks like a post-apocalyptic ‘city’ and you can guess they don’t get many clients as a result. But these things don’t concern me. Because I value the experience even if the food sucks.
Well that didn’t matter here because the food was ON POINT. Dead on, in fact. Three steak tacos, corn tortillas, only cilantro/onion (my request) and a copious amount of beans and rice. This is the food I love to eat. Simple and prepared correctly. I am not Mexican but I’m from Chicago so I’ve had the real deal too many times to count, plus I’ve had Mexican all over the country. This is the real deal.

They’re the only game in town, and doing it right! Great food, server was awesome. Great place to take a break from the dirt and dust to grab some great food and a beer.

I go here usually a couple of times a month. Most of the time I take out but sometimes I dine in. My last visit was for karaoke I say Patrick’s Day night. As is usual everyone had a lot of fun. Food was good drinks were good and the people are great.

The food is about a 3 of 10. This is the second time they screwed up my order. I’ve been there maybe 10 times and 3 out of 10 times the food was good. Just a sad place.

I’ve been going to this place for YEARS!! & it’s delicious EVERY SINGLE TIME! It’s located right off of hwy 86. It’s a cute little cozy place! If your looking for Mexican food you definitely came to the right place! The family that runs the restaurant is awesome! Very nice & very quick! The price is affordable! If you haven’t ate here you should definitely make it a point to do so!
