I love the diner atmosphere here! I got the chicken and waffles, and it was absolutely delicious! Shannon, our waitress, recommended the chicken and waffles, so I was excited to try it. My girlfriend got roast beef and mashed potatoes and loved everything. Shannon was amazing and we will definitely be back very soon!

This is a well-run sit-down restaurant conveniently located inside Knoebels amusement park. Every time we go here, the food tastes great, and the staff are genuinely happy and friendly. (That’s especially true for the Halloween character brunch.)
Whoever is the manager at the Alamo knows how to please customers. The owner of Knoebels should pay the Alamo manager to teach the manager of the brutally obnoxious parking attendants how to train staff in the art of making people feel welcomed. That would be like sending Michelangelo to teach a 4-year old how to stop eating Play-Doh and step up to finger painting.

I was pleasantly surprised with the amazing food at the reasonable prices. Being at a park, you would expect to pay more. However, our lunch was inexpensive and amazing. We got a number to wait to be seated, our waiter greated us and apologized for being understaffed; however, he was friendly and was still attentive. The burger was great! The fries were awesome! My daughter loved her blt! My hubby loved his cheeseteak.
Update: the hot open faced roast beef with gravy was delicious, the mashed potatoes were not good, in my opinion. Kids spaghetti was a very large portion. The fish n chips looked crispy and the fries were good. Even if there’s a wait, it moves quick.

It’s clean and our waiter was great. But the food is very, very bland. Everything is clearly frozen or canned. The rest of the food around the park is way way better

Knobles diner the Alamo is the best. 19x best amusement park food. Actually there food is better then most restaurants outside the park. Going there for 20 years. Great staff, always clean, big portions.

Not very happy with my visit today. I ordered the black bean burger, one of the few vegan options in the park. The description reads, served with lettuce, tomato, onion AND served with fries. When my bill came I was a bit surprised when I got charged $3.50 for fries, plus an additional $1 for a slice of tomato too!
There is mention on the menu about fries being an upgrade. The black bean burger is the only item that has any mention of fries being included in the description. I assumed they would be included. That is very misleading. I did not see anything about charging for tomato.
Knoebels is world famous for the quality of their food. They won’t be winning any culinary awards with this black bean burger. The bun was hard in the center, as if microwaved too long, or stale. The burger was a basic run of the mill store bought black bean burger. It’s a shame this is the only plant based (vegan) burger option at Knoebels. There are so many other brands that would taste better than this particular one.
This was opening weekend so the pricing mix up may have been a new staffing error. I will also say that I did not question anyone about the pricing either. Even if the burger was free with an order of fries I would not recommend it!

Ate here with 4 teen girls (my 2 kids and 2 of their friends) and food was good and filling. Not expensive for sit down amusement park restaurant and appreciated the air conditioning to cool off for 100+ degree day. Waitress was very nice and friendly and made sure we were good with our meals and refills.

The food was fresh n good. Alamo is clean n air conditioned. Server was preoccupied n also busy. Forgot a few things we needed like forks. But we survived n enjoyed ourselves in the park.

Always a great meal at The Alamo. Famous Signature Chicken and Waffles are always the best. Marissa was a great server, thanks. Hot Bacon dressing on the salad was another plus. Plenty of bacon pieces, and it was hot. Though busy, the wait time was pretty accurately presented to our party of four adults. A great refuge from the rain; comfortable, real sit-down dining in a casual amusement park atmosphere.

Slow service, forgot to bring some of my food, 3/4 of my plate was filled with potato chips, asked for a medium burger, got it well done, supposed to be a bacon cheeseburger, had a single piece of thin bacon, and was a tiny patty. Waiter was nice, but that’s about it. Highly unsatisfied about my visit today, and I’ve been coming here for years.
