Aladdin Restaurant in Stowe, Vermont, is a great spot for Middle Eastern flavors! We tried the Spicy Potato and Aladdin Special Pita Sandwich with Falafel, both of which tasted delicious. The prices though were a bit on the higher side. Conveniently located near the famous church in Stowe, it’s a must-try for anyone visiting the area. Very much recommended for vegetarian!

This is a great place for mediterranean food. It’s all vegetarian but it is tasty. Loved the falafel wrap. Loved their mediterranean salad. I have become a fan of mediterranean food after eating at this place. Restaurant is small in size only a very tables available for seating inside and few available outside . Nice location and beautiful colors in nearby trees

Decided to visit this place based on the ratings and was pleasantly surprised. Cute decor, fresh ingredients and amazing service. Really good quality food. Spot-on if looking for a quick bite for lunch by the picturesque mountains. Delight for vegetarians.

Excellent Mediterranean Food!
We had lunch at Aladdin in Stowe, VT, and it was absolutely amazing! The food is 100% vegetarian — so it might disappoint non-veg eaters — but for vegetarians, it’s a real treat. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
If you enjoy falafel, hummus, or Mediterranean flavors, this place is a must-visit. I’ve been to many Mediterranean restaurants across the U.S., but this one easily makes it to the top of my list. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates authentic, delicious Mediterranean cuisine!

We came to Vermont for fall foliage trip and smuggler’s notch was near to this restaurant. So it’s great location while visiting. There were many locals in restaurant who seemed like they’re regulars. Food was so fresh and delicious. Falafels were crunchiest from outside and soft from inside. And hummus was so fresh and authentic. We had falafel sandwich and falafel hummus bowl. Spicy green hot sauce that came with it was so tasty. Not a big fan of the zatar pita chips as found it a bit oily for my liking. But over all other two items were great. Pita breads were so soft and fluffy and warm. We got tahini sauce on side as well. Plenty of vegetarian options. Service was quick and all staff members were courteous. There’s gender neutral restroom and some sitting area inside and also outdoors. Loved the magic lamp outside which fits the restaurant name. They had one giraffe bench too which was amusing. Would love to come here again during next visit to Vermont for sure.

No idea how this restaurant got such good reviews. We had high hopes for Aladdin after seeing 4.8 stars, but it was a big letdown. The service was slow and inattentive, and the portions were surprisingly small for the high prices they charge. We ordered the Moussaka Eggplant, Falafel Pita Sandwich, and Lentil Soup. Only the soup was decent. Everything else tasted bland and poorly prepared. For what we paid, we expected much better quality and flavor.

Pictured is the Middle Eastern bowl with falafel (i’ve also had it with the cauliflower) and both are delicious. The pita sandwich, pita chips, and hummus are also all amazing items!
They’ve recently added several new items (also pictured) to their menu and I can attest that they’re all delicious and full of flavor. Aladdin also does catering and they put together a beautiful spread of yummy food for my sister’s wedding that everyone enjoyed and couldn’t help but take seconds and thirds (pictured). The ingredients are always fresh and the portion sizes are generous. I can’t wait to try more of their offerings☺️If you’re passing through Stowe, go to Aladdin! It won’t disappoint. They always go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy.

We were a group of nine looking for halal food in Stowe and decided to try Aladdin since it had good reviews. Honestly, we were pretty disappointed. The menu was vegetarian, which was unexpected for a Mediterranean place. The food itself was just okay — nothing special — but the prices were really high for what we got. The portions were small, and the overall value for the taste just didn’t make sense.
On top of that, the staff didn’t seem very friendly or helpful, which made the experience even less enjoyable. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the price, especially if you’re looking for good Mediterranean food in the area.

The best falafel I’ve eaten. I tried virtually the entire menu (which is only a few items) and everything is exceptional. A bit unexpected, but very welcome touch – fresh pomegranate seeds in the baba ganoush. In all honesty – the meal was better than any high end middle eastern full service restaurant I have been too. Also on the way down the mountain from the ski area makes this a perfect stop.
