My server Bronlyn was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent. Sausage gravy has really sausage in it, potatoes hot and crispy, sourdough toast and eggs fresh. Definitely will come again!

09/21/2024 – First time visiting Ala Carte Café with a buddy of mine and it was a great experience. There was a host outside asking the number of parties to determine best seating. Once you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the staff members. They exemplify team work from communication to helping each other out. I ordered their Two Egg Breakfast Combo with bacon, wheat toast, a cup of coffee, and YUMMY! Their decor was tributary to workers of the city. Comfortable seating. Amazing service. Parking near the restaurant. Decent prices.

It’s been many years since I last ate here, but they really upped their game since then. Be prepared to wait, especially on weekends, as it’s one of the few local breakfast places in the area. Lucky for us, since we had our dog with us, we were seated immediately on the patio and got to bypass the line a bit. The service is somewhat slow, but I can’t blame them too much as they were hustling. They were all super friendly and treated both of us and our dog very nicely. Everything we had was delicious. The coffee is perfect as it is, it didn’t need the cream or sugar, what I expect of a great breakfast place. The portions are huge for the price and I left full and satisfied. It’s not the most amazing breakfast I’ve ever had, but it’s certainly one of the better breakfasts in PC. Definitely check it out if you can if you’re in the area. I’ll for sure go back!

This local place has been around since I was a kid, and it’s always been a local favorite. Every time my relatives are in town, they love to go here.
We went up the other day. And as usual, there’s a wait, but they get you right in. The food is always good, always fresh, and the servers are always very courteous and kind. It’s a great place to go eat breakfast, and there’s no doubt it’s the best place to eat breakfast in town. They’re usually open from 6 AM to 2 p.m., and it’s definitely worth checking out.

YES. This is the small hidden breakfast gem you’re looking for when visiting Port Clinton. Food is homemade, fresh, and delicious. Service is homey and efficient. You’ll witness wait staff greeting locals by name and you don’t have a long wait between ordering and receiving food.

Ala Carte is serving breakfast for those who have some time to kill and an appetite. This is your average little diner nestled in downtown PC.

Got an omelette that was supposed to be with home fries. My toast was soggy and had to wait longer than 10mins. Try 30. Had to ask for condiments and. The server seems like she had an attitude. Worst money spent on breakfast. Should’ve went to McDonald’s.

Best breakfast in town. Always has been too. Biscuits and gravy are super. Portions are large. It’s a small place so the wait is a little long but worth it.
