I was very excited to see a new Mexican restaurant in the area and decided to order delivery for my birthday. We ordered chips and guacamole, birria tacos, 8oz side of rice and beans, a barbacoa burrito with added guacamole and quesillo and empanadas. After tax, tip, delivery fee and service fee it was $63. They forgot the chips and guacamole, side of rice and beans and the add ons to the burrito. We contacted the driver who told us we needed to contact the restaurant. We contacted the restaurant to ask if the items would be delivered or refunded, the man said they would deliver the missing items. No one ever came. I called again the next day and explained what happened and asked for a refund and the lady that answered the phone just sat in silence. I asked to speak to a manager and she hung up on me. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. A refund for items not received is a very reasonable ask and that was how they handled the situation. So disappointing.

I can’t remember the names of the dishes we ordered, but you’ll see them in the pictures! I told our server I liked spicy food, and he recommended a dish that they kicked up a notch just for me. I really appreciated that—flavor and heat were on point!
The place has a family-owned feel, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.
Only downside: they said they had queso, but what came out was more like a watery melted cheddar situation—not good. Definitely skipping that next time.
Other than that, everything else hit the spot!

I’m very picky when it comes to Spanish food and I was blown away with this place. The food is top tier! I ordered two things just in case I didn’t like one of them but I ended up cleaning both plates! This is authentic Spanish food that is made with love. The restaurant is clean and the people working there are great. 10/10 would recommend this place. I ordered the Carne Asada plate and the Caldo de Res soup thinking I was about to pay a lot but when I got the check I was surprised how affordable the food is at this restaurant. The only thing I would say to be watchful for is the salsa; it’s spicy! Definitely left with a deeper voice after eating the salsa. Great stuff!

New restaurant in Rensselaer. I ordered takeout from this new restaurant and everything was fantastic! I ordered the carne asada burrito, a chicken quesadilla, and some of the tamales. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I really liked the additional sauces that came with the meal- they really added to the flavor profile and enhanced the dish. Staff are so friendly and the service is quick (it only took about 10 minute to receive my order). If you’re thinking of eating in person, just note there are only a handful of tables and the vibe is very casual. Whether you dine in or take out, the food will be the highlight of your visit. Please give this local business a try- you’ll be glad you did!

We ordered both pork and shrimp tacos. Both flavors were delicious. Guacamole was also fresh and delicious. Food came out hot and quickly. This place is a great addition to Rensselaer!
