The food here i had was From Kabul to Karachi — all on one plate in Rancho cordova
Kabuli Pulao – Afghan rice with raisins, carrots, and lamb.
The rice was nice basmati pilaf style rice mixed with Savory and sweets raisins. Chunks of lamb inside but i didn’t like the lamb much, it was on the dry side but gives flavor to the rice.

Chapli Kabab is spiced withCoarsely ground spices like coriander and cumin seeds. Dried pomegranate seeds for a tangy flavor.
I love the pairing of the Finely chopped tomatoes and onions.lime and lemon. It really pairs well with the meat patty. Also it balances the textures and making the taste of each bite more refreshing.

Unlike many other kebabs that are grilled, chapli kababs are shallow-fried in oil or fat to achieve a crispy, flavorful exterior. It was like the perfect crisp and was so pleasing to watch them make it in the fryer outside in the parking lot.

Overall the experience I went is on a Friday around 530pm so maybe go around this time to experience what I did. The service was quick with asking for refills and utensils. Ambiance is friendly, family and kid friendly. Thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

Excellent service. Ambience is not fancy, but welcoming. Flavorful, authentic, fresh food. We enjoyed the Dum goat biryani, chicken sheekh kebab, okra curry, onion naan.
Did not like the hard fibrous boneless chicken karahi. The sesame naan was not as fresh and soft as the onion naan.
Definitely plan to visit again for their weekend breakfast. Poori halwa sounds interesting. Wish they have the restaurant open longer on Friday nights.

We decided to try a new restaurant in Rancho, not realizing it was a buffet. The ambiance was delightful, and the owner welcomed us warmly, showing great hospitality. The appetizers and chicken biryani were delicious. However, the curries didn’t quite meet my expectations, and the naan was a bit too hard. The desserts, on the other hand, were excellent.

The cashier was friendly helping me find something off the menu. They have a buffet and also platers to go as well.
I order two platers to go, ended costing more than buffet. If you have to time to eat here, do the buffet since it’s more value and variety.

Perfect Indian-pakistani restaurant in the town so far. My taste buds was happy that day. Perfect spices in all north indian items.
Fo appetizers we ordered- Gol Gappa Shots, Samosa Chat, Chicken Tikka Botti.
(Gol Gappa was ok-ok, but liked Samosa Chat)
For Entrees we ordered – Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan.
(Everything was perfect)
Well prepared food.
Just the wait time is long coz of less man power. so be patient and wait for delicious food.

Found this on Google when searching for new restaurants in Sac. When we got here on Friday for lunch around 11:45, and it was empty. We were worrying that the food might not be good. The waitress was nice and friendly. There are many dishes on the menu. We order 4 dishes and all were good and delicious. The dishes took a while to come out because every dishes were made fresh. The price was reasonable. We love Indian and Pakistani food. We have tried many Indian restaurants and we think this is the best so far in Sac. Will be back to try other dishes.

very very good food. A bit more pricey compared to others but this kind of taste is worth splurging in a little extra. They have recently moved from watt Ave in sacramento to white rock in rancho cordova but the taste remains the same. They offer buffet on weekdays $15/head and on weekends $20/head.

Please let me know if I’m wrong here, but we order the tikka masala, chicken korma, and goat karahi and didn’t get any rice. We ordered Naan on top of the entrees, but I’ve never gone to an Indian restuarant and not get rice with these dishes. The Tikka masala was okay, but the other 2 dishes was subpar. My chicken korma had a lot of oil in it. I didn’t believe the reviews because again, I’ve never had “bland” indian food before, but it was so very bland and oily. We asked gor the goat Karahi to be spicy and all they did was add Chilli oil. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend. I couldn’t even have it taken back because we weren’t checked on during our meal. We had leftovers of course but it’s to the point I wouldn’t eat it even if it was free. I don’t know what was ordered from some of the other 5 star reviews, but if you’re wanting what we got, this c isn’t the place for you.
