Ordered delivery The italian sub had a slice of each meat, and olives which is odd. The sub was more BREAD than anything. Fries were soggy with oil and I dont even live that far. Not sure I’ll give them another shot. Oh the sticks were ok

Cannot speak for atmosphere, as we ordered delivery and I’m still giving 5 stars because the food is excellent! Best cannolis I’ve had maybe ever! Would love for them to send dinners out, we were looking for a chicken parm dinner for delivery but didn’t see it on the menu – excellent Italian food here especially if you love strong garlic flavor!

The young girl working today, 12/22/25 was amazing!! Beyond hospitable and polite. She apologized for not having the tin for the meatballs and even threw in cheesecake for the inconvenience…even though it wasn’t. Really well done for someone her age. The food is always great and today was the same! Great experience all the way around.

We were looking for good pizza as we don’t have any good pizza where we are, and it was a little late. We found Al Forno. We came within an hour of closing and they were super friendly to us which is amazing (most places will give attitude if we go towards closing time). The pizza was so delicious-the perfect amount of sauce and cheese! I will definitely come back as I’d like to try other things here!

Came in at 8:45 to order, and usually the staff is super grumpy and annoyed about it. but the young lady was super sweet and very kind. we need more people like her in the restaurant business. also got a large pizza crust was perfectly cooked and the cheese was cooked perfect!! definitely will be back.

The meat lovers pizza is delicious, though the crust is too thin and too soft. It just falls apart and can’t be held. Avoid the subs, they’re definitely not their strong suit, especially compared to the pizzas and calzones. Seriously though, those meatballs and italian sausage toppings are to die for.
Cashiers are very nice, but also seem like they’re just kind of there? Not really an active part.. it’s just the vibe, I guess.
The eating area is too small, with tiny, impractical tables. The feet get in the way of the chairs. The food and plates don’t fit.
Overall, I recommend for takeout!

Today was my family’s first time trying Al Frono, and wow — they did not disappoint! We got an 18-inch cheese pizza, a small meat lover’s calzone (which was huge for a “small” — not complaining!), some mozzarella sticks, and waffle fries.
Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Hands down the best Italian pizza we’ve ever had! Nothing but happy stomachs over here.
Definitely our new favorite spot off Gatlin! ❤️

Everything was good. I just had asked on the online order app for extra sauce on the pizza and extra garlic butter on the knots and didn’t receive either. I did order a side of sauce for dipping the garlic knots. I will never not get sauce. It was some of the best sauce I’ve tasted, 10 out of 10.

We’ve ordered from here twice since moving to PSL in December 2022. The first time we got the pizzas shown in the pics. A grandma and a supreme. Both were good but we especially liked the grandma because it seemed to have a different sauce. Maybe a little sweeter but that’s more of a personal preference than anything else. The second time we got an Irish pizza that was a special. We had a tough time ordering this because whoever was answering the phone seemed confused about special pizzas and when they’re available. Eventually I called and the person answering the phones was able to ask someone else and get an answer. The pizza was good. Potatoes sliced thin, onions, bacon, and cheese. It seemed to be missing something. It could use some seasoning or maybe a salty cheese. Overall the pizza’s a good option based on the couple places we’ve tried since moving here. We would definitely go back.
