Ossobuco was tasty but chewy, the Focaccia ok but with whole rosemary branches snd leaves thst I had to pick off one by one. The taste and the dough were good though.
The service was on the arrogant side. I didn’t care for it.

Ate two dinners at Al Dente. Friendly and attentive service, wonderful Italian menu selections and delicious food. It’s just one block off Plaza de Armas. Open Sunday night! We really enjoyed the ambiance and especially the ravioli with spinach alla créma.

Ok- this is the real deal! Cute and quaint Italian restaurant with 5 star quality! The fresh pasta sheets and spaghetti strings are hanging on a clothes line and the chef who is from Italy himself stands in the background ready to cook with his heart! We ordered pizza caprese and a Lomo o las tres pimientas. The pizza dough was perfect, as was the tomato sauce, mozzarella and fresh basil. My hubby ordered his meat medium rare and it was seared to perfection. The desserts were heavenly- we ordered chocolate pannacotta and cheesecake- both served with a fresh strawberry coulis. Pizza was a decent size, costing 50 soles and the lomo- 62 soles. Very reasonable price for superb quality! Best Italian restaurant in the 11 countries we’ve travelled so far on the Pan -American highway. Definitely come here for a treat!

What a delight to eat here. Four months of travelling through South-America and this restaurant was able to fool us into thinking we were in Italy.
Stunning flavours with excellent attention to presentation and first class care for guests. You can tell everyone in this establishment cares to deliver the best experience.

Some of the best pasta we’ve had in South America! Fresh pasta perfectly cooked al dente, flavourful sauces, and attentive wait staff made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We had the lomo with porcini mushrooms which had a deliciously earthy flavour, and the langostines with salsa rosa – perfectly cooked prawns and delicious sauce.

Excellent Italian Trattoria with homemade pasta. We went two days in a row and walked out highly satisfied both times. The food was fresh and delicious made by the Italian Owner himself. The place has a great ambience and excellent service; everything was exceeding expectations.
