My band recently performed at the Harrison Meadows concert series. We customarily order pizza for the guys with plenty of time before the show but I got distracted and ordered late. I was told it would be 45 to 50 minutes because it was around dinner time. This would’ve been cutting it too close but I ordered the pizza anyway and asked if they could do what they can to get it there earlier. The pizza arrived in 30 minutes and it was delicious! Thank you Al Dente!

Last Friday I was out late shopping and Google’d pizza and Al Dente popped up. I drove over there and although it was late, there were some really good looking sausage slices. I got one to go and while I was eating, I was thinking this is a really good slice. I wanted to get another, but it was now 10pm so they were closing. Went home and told my wife about this spot we need to try out.

Fast forward to last night and it the pouring rain we took a 20+ minute ride out to Rye. Ordered a large pie over the phone for pick-up. The box felt light, but I put it on my backseat and drove him.

Man what a terrible pie. It was thin, lacked cheese and was much smaller than what I remember last week’s sausage slice to be like.

This Al Dente pie was reminiscent of a Brooklyn “dollar slice”. Pure garbage. Never going back.
