The allure of the history of Ravenna brought us to this Italian treasure. After visiting the Basilica Sam Vitali we had the pleasure of having a quick lunch at Al Cairoli.
The restaurants is a classy establishment in the old town. Our waitress was incredible friendly and welcoming. She definitely made the experience even more memorable.
We love attention to detail when it comes to the atmosphere and the food. Al Cairoli provides this in spades!
The wine list provides plenty of local and international options. We were short on time but I am sure we could have had no trouble settling in for an enjoyable afternoon.
We had soups as an entree before the mains. All dishes were delicious. The Pork Cheek was tender and flavoursome. The Tiramisù desert was as good as I have ever tried.
We thoroughly recommend Al Cairoli for a memorable meal.

This is a quaint restaurant, formerly a hat shop with the show cases now filled with a huge selection of wines. We came for dinner and were treated to some amazing cuisine. The breaded yolk in Parmesan sauce followed by pork cheek and finishing with a tiramisu. A bottle of red from the Venerto made this meal one to remember.

We absolutely LOVED having lunch here. Easily the nicest meal we had in our two weeks in Italy. Food was incredible and amazing value, the service was lovely, and they were so welcoming to our baby. Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely come back.

My husband and I have the best food ever! The daily menu was AMAZING! DELICIOUS! We tried local food, very unique Italian food from Ravenna Area! The service: A BLAST! We eat: antipasto -each of us-, main dish -each of us-, desert -each of us- and a bottle of Wine, we only paid 90€! I really recommend!

Gorgeous little place that has such good quality ingredients. Service is great, friendly and enthusiastic. We had a salad, pasta with pine nuts and asparagus, beef with sausage and a cheesecake with cherry dessert. The wine menu is extensive and the beers were delicious. Little gem of Ravenna!

Dreadful food..served reheated and cold. definitely not cooked fresh. We were old we had to arrive promptly at 7,30 pm and be gone by 9.15, which was not a problem – but we waited an hour for a main course..and there are only 5 tables, 3 of the. 5 tables were not happy with their food and the management seemed indifferent. Worst meal in Ravenna and all other restaurants were very good. Avoid.

We had an excellent meal here today. The igredients are all locally sourced and there is clearly care put in to the cooking. Very tasty. My wifd loved her guinea fowl ragu. For me the balsamic vinegar over ice cream was an amazing discovery. Excellent restaurant.
